Welcome to this brief self-love pause.
Today we will repeat affirmations to instill and enliven greater feelings of self-worth.
Affirmations are a powerful way to introduce new ways of thinking to retrain the mind and even rewire the brain.
So I invite you to repeat each affirmation as if you can feel the possibility of it being true for you in your life.
Find a comfortable position seated or lying down.
You can listen to this meditation any time of day whether seated,
Lying down,
Taking a walk,
Or even while you're exercising.
Let's begin by taking some slow deep breaths together.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale slowly and completely through the mouth.
Inhale deeply,
Feel your belly and chest filling with breath.
Exhale slowly through the mouth.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Letting go.
If it works for you to close your eyes,
I invite you to do so now,
Allowing your awareness to move deeper inside.
Feel your shoulders relaxing down,
The weight of your body supported by whatever is beneath you,
The seat,
The bed,
The earth.
Continue to breathe slowly and deeply,
Now exhaling through the nose if possible.
Allow a space between the teeth so the jaw can relax.
Feel your belly softening.
With each breath,
Allow any tension that is holding in the body to soften,
Maybe even release.
You may wish to offer yourself a little extra kindness by placing one hand on your heart,
Maybe the other hand on your belly.
As you hear each affirmation,
I invite you to repeat it silently in your mind or out loud.
Bring the feeling sense of this affirmation being true.
What would it feel like?
Who would you be if you knew this affirmation to be true?
I am a good person.
I am a good person.
I am enough,
Just as I am.
I am enough,
Just as I am.
I accept myself unconditionally.
I accept myself unconditionally.
My inner beauty shines brightly.
My inner beauty shines brightly.
I deserve all the good things in life.
I deserve all the good things in life.
I am wonderful.
I am wonderful.
There is so much love in me.
There is so much love in me.
I want the very best for myself.
I want the very best for myself.
I respect myself.
I respect myself.
I am kind to myself.
I am kind to myself.
I am beautiful inside and out.
I am beautiful inside and out.
My body is perfect and lovable just the way it is.
My body is perfect and lovable just the way it is.
I trust my decisions.

I am strong and brave.
I am strong and brave.
I am kind and generous.
I am kind and generous.
I am smart and talented.
I am smart and talented.
I deserve to be happy.
I deserve to be happy.
I am worthy of love and kindness.
I am worthy of love and kindness.
I accept my flaws and imperfections with love and compassion.
I accept my flaws and imperfections with love and compassion.
I am becoming the very best version of myself.
I am becoming the very best version of myself.
I belong here.
I belong here.
I matter.
I am enough.
I am loved.
I matter.
I am enough.
I am loved.
Take a slow deep breath in,
Fill your heart,
And then exhale through the mouth with a sigh.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale release.
You may wish to rub some slow gentle circles over your heart center.
Offer yourself gratitude for taking this time to be with yourself in such a kind and loving way.
If you are in stillness with the eyes closed,
Slowly start to move the body.
And when you're ready,
Open the eyes.
Repetition is key when it comes to creating a new habit,
A new way of thinking,
A new way of feeling.
So I invite you to listen to this meditation each day for at least 21 days in a row.
Studies have shown that repeating something for a minimum of 21 days has the ability to start to ingrain a new habit.
You are worthy.
You are lovable.
And it all starts with you.
All my love.
