I invite you to find a comfortable position,
One which allows your body to fully relax and let go.
Allow your shoulders to drop and melt.
Allow your breathing to become fluid and easy.
Finding yourself that meditation isn't about trying to create a particular state,
But a relaxing,
A letting go,
A remembering of the peace that is already here.
Allow awareness to reveal to you now your natural,
Uncontrived state.
Allow yourself to fall into this peace which surpasses all understanding.
Let's begin by setting an intention.
I am willing to see clearly.
I am willing to see the truth.
Let all veils of illusion,
All that is standing in the way of my clear seeing,
Dissolve.
And I invite you now to sink your attention down into your heart.
What is the quality of awareness like on this level?
Is there warmth or coolness?
Is there an emptiness or fullness?
Is the energy more active or restful?
Are you feeling any emotions?
Let's allow all of it to be and to flow freely.
Let's welcome the expression of our heart as it is now,
In this moment.
Our heart is the greatest barometer of truth there is.
It is always showing us the way.
It's from within that our inner knowing arises and supports us in learning all we came here to learn.
Our inner teacher is always showing us,
Moment to moment,
What is next on our path of growth and fulfillment.
The heart is always leading us to those things that we love,
Those things that expand us and feel good when we think about them are our higher path.
And we can learn to trust its guidance.
We can learn to trust our own inner knowing above anyone else's.
We simply have to find the courage to align our actions with our Sakguru,
The guru within,
To align our words with the nudges from this still small voice.
Because what good is all our wisdom if we don't have the courage to embody it?
What good is all our intuitive knowing if we don't take action on it?
The word courage is derived from the French word,
Coeur,
Meaning heart,
Because it is only the force of what we love that gives us the courage to break free of anything standing in the way.
The love of our dreams,
Our hopes,
The love of life,
And the love for ourselves.
Since the heart guides us moment to moment,
The more present we are,
The more we can hear it.
If we look too far ahead or too far back,
We may miss it.
It is quiet and gentle,
So the more still we get,
The more we put our ear down close to our chest,
The louder it becomes.
The more conditioning and limiting beliefs we clear from our system,
The more sensitive we become to its messages,
For the heart doesn't speak in shoulds and it doesn't use fear to motivate us.
The truth is whatever helps our body to relax,
That allows our mind to quiet down.
The truth feels like a letting go,
An expansion,
A relaxed openness in our system.
It feels like a lightness in our being.
When making a decision,
We can check to see how it feels in our body.
Anything that causes us to contract and tighten,
Anything that puts us more in our minds is not true.
The difference may be very subtle,
But we can learn to sense it.
If our mind comes in with its endless wrist of reasons about why we should do something,
Even though our body is indicating a different choice,
We can trust the deeper wisdom,
The feeling level,
The body level.
We can trust in the wisdom of the whole to guide us through our heart to all those things we need to do to take care of ourselves on an emotional,
Physical and material level.
And the more we listen,
The more gently and easefully we can be guided.
The more we listen,
The less we need the fierceness of life to wake us up to the truth at our core.
Our intuition,
Our inner knowing,
Works on a need to know basis.
We are given what we need to know,
When we need to know it,
Not a moment before or after.
Our inner knowing never rationalizes or justifies itself.
That's the mind's job.
It's only the mind that would talk us out of our deeper knowing,
That would seek power,
Control and status over the qualities of our presence,
Of creativity,
Joy,
Love,
Peace,
Trust and courage.
As we listen to this wisdom,
It grows more and more compelling and harder and harder to ignore.
The more we listen,
The more we find that the results encourage us to trust even more deeply the next time.
And all we need to do is bring our awareness into its guidance.
Bringing our awareness to our heart's guidance,
Whether or not we listen,
Will turn us into the person who is ready to listen.
It will help us admit to ourselves what we secretly want.
It will help us know the truths that we would rather not know.
It's time now to tell your heart that you trust it.
I invite you to put your hand over your heart and say,
I will listen to you.
I will follow you.
I will listen to your voice.
I will be true to you,
My own precious heart,
To your wisdom and guidance over anyone else's.
I trust your guidance.
I know that you're my inner teacher and that you're always showing me what is best for my growth.
You're helping me to unfold my deepest expression and recognize the fullest potential of my gifts.
I invite you,
Dear heart,
To speak even more clearly to me.
I will take action based on your guidance.
I'm open to receiving your love,
Wisdom,
Peace,
Clarity and strength.
You feel your heart opening and expanding as you attune more to its melody.
I invite you to think of an area in your life now in which you would like more guidance.
Review for a moment,
Not intellectually,
But at a feeling level,
What you would like in this area.
What feels good and what draws your heart.
What may be something that you've been wanting to do,
Something that would mean following your inner guidance.
Let it rise up from within you what that might be.
Let it come forward now very clearly.
And if it doesn't come in right now,
Trust that it will materialize in the next few days.
May you be well.
May you be at peace.
Namaste.
