Welcome,

Welcome wild one to this nature inspired body scan.

Here we will take some time to ground ourselves and then share a gentle body scan practice.

We will be supported and serenaded by the songs of nature beings.

So firstly inviting you to take some time and find yourself a position that feels comfortable and supportive for your body today.

When you have found that position we will begin by taking a few transitional breaths.

So deep breaths at a pace that suits you.

And these breaths support us in letting us move on from wherever we are in our day into a place of stillness and slowness.

So taking some time here to land and connect with your breath,

Your body and your inner ecosystem.

For this body scan,

As a name points on the body,

The invitation is to send gentle awareness and mindful breath to those spaces.

You may wish to visualise something illuminating those spaces,

Like sunlight or gentle warmth,

But whatever feels right for you today,

Just sending your awareness to those places.

Beginning with the point between your eyebrows.

The middle of your throat.

Right shoulder.

Right elbow.

The middle of your right wrist.

Right thumb.

Index finger.

Middle finger.

Ring finger.

And the tip of your little finger.

The middle of your right wrist.

Right elbow.

And the middle of the throat.

Left shoulder.

The middle of your left wrist.

And little finger.

The middle of your wrist.

And the middle of your throat.

Your heart space.

Right side of your chest.

Left side of your chest.

And your heart space.

Solar plexus.

Navel.

Right hip.

Right knee.

Right ankle.

The right big toe.

Tip of the second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

And the tip of your little toe.

Right ankle.

Right knee.

Right hip.

And your navel.

Left hip.

And the left big toe.

Fourth toe.

And the tip of your little toe on your left foot.

Left ankle.

Left knee.

Left hip.

Navel.

Solar plexus.

Heart space.

The middle of your throat.

And the centre between your eyebrows.

Now feeling the upper side of your body.

The lower side of your body.

The left side of your body.

And the right side of your body.

Feeling your whole body.

Your whole wild body.

And just taking some time here to listen to the songs of nature beings.

Connecting once again to your breath.

Your body.

And your inner ecosystem.

And ending as we began.

By taking some more transitional breaths.

Again these are breaths at a speed and a depth that suit you today.

This time transitioning from this place of stillness and slowness.

Gently back into your day or your night.

Thank you for joining me for this practice and for gifting yourself this time for slowing down,

Reconnecting and deepening your relationship to nature.

I wish you a grounded day and a peaceful night.
