If you're feeling out of balance and like you're being pulled in every different direction,

Let this breathing practice bring you back to center.

This technique,

Known as the physiological sigh,

Is one of the quickest and most effective ways to ease tension,

Calm the mind,

And bring yourself back into equilibrium and the present moment.

For this practice,

You will take two full inhales through the nose followed by an extended exhale out through the mouth.

It'll sound a little something like this.

So go ahead and empty all your air out on your next exhale and take an inhale through the nose.

Now take a second smaller sip of air and exhale slowly and fully through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale through the nose.

A second quick inhale at the top and exhale slowly through the mouth.

So continue like this.

Take a deep inhale in and a sip at the top and an audible exhale out.

Again,

Like that.

Inhale,

Fill up a little more and then audible exhale.

One more time,

Deep inhale in.

A little bit more and on the exhale,

Let something go.

Allowing yourself to let go of the breathing technique and letting your breath return to its natural flow.

And just settling back and checking in,

Seeing if you notice any differences or shifts in the body or the mind.

Thank you for letting me make space with you.
