Hi,

This is Sonia with the Morning Mindfulness Practice.

Take a moment to take a nice deep breath in through your nose.

As you inhale,

Feel the air as it enters in through your nostrils.

Sense the air as it travels,

Merging down to your chest,

Within your lungs.

Inhale into the expansion and into the release.

Naturally allow yourself to breathe.

And as you're breathing,

Naturally draw your attention from the external world,

Bringing your awareness completely within.

With eyes open or closed,

Whichever feels the most welcoming for you,

Gently increase your awareness of all that's taking place around you.

With your physical senses,

Sense any gentle ambient noises,

Breezes,

Change in temperature,

As well as any physical sensations within your body.

And as you continue to naturally breathe in and out through your nose,

Allow yourself to completely take up space within your physical body.

With the morning brings the newness of a day.

And that,

From the time that you may have slept,

From the moment that you opened your eyes,

Was a new space,

Setting pace for what could be one of the very best days.

Oftentimes,

The moment that we reacclimate ourselves to physically being within our spaces.

Memories or thoughts of all the things that reaffirm what we should be doing,

Or even still the laundry list of things that we have waiting for our attention as the day begins.

Perhaps your mind has already sprung forward into how you're going to tackle the many things on your to-do list.

With the focus attention on all that lies before you,

Tends to follow a sense of tension and resistance.

So for this morning's practice,

The intention is open,

Availability,

And receptivity.

Continue to fill into the breath,

Breathing and allowing your awareness to root you fully in your body.

The mind has its way of pulling our attention from the past to the future and back again.

Allow yourself to feel the energy that is flowing throughout your chest.

Feel that fluid motion.

Allow it to soothe you and allow yourself to completely immerse with the motion.

That fluid motion as you feel the chest rise and fall,

All within a rhythmic dance.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus your attention on the breath,

Pulling your awareness away from all the things that await you.

Allow yourself to just be here now.

As you breathe,

Feeling to what makes itself present,

Whatever you sense arising to the top of your awareness.

Whatever rises up,

See it for what it really is.

There's no need to self-critique based on how you may think you should be focusing or centering your awareness.

Cover yourself with grace and allow yourself to breathe through any resistance that rises up.

Feel into the feeling that you would like to bring forth to the day.

With each feeling or sensation brings an energy.

As with each day,

There's an open willingness and an intention to have all good things come into your experience.

Being that we can only have control over how we respond and react to the various different things that may come our way.

Just simply breathe,

Feeling into the intention of what you'd like to invite in.

As the day progresses on,

There's a tendency to bring different aspects or vibrations from the past into the present.

As you're breathing,

Release anything that feels heavy or brings a sense of tension through your day.

Open yourself to more good than you can possibly imagine.

Releasing any notion of how that's going to look.

Much of what we've been taught is to plan,

Forecast,

Be prepared for all that could possibly unfold in the day ahead.

By simply feeling into the intention of open receptivity,

Open yourself to more good than you can possibly imagine.

Releasing any attachment to how that's going to look.

Releasing any sense of control over which shape that's going to take.

Feel into the vibration that all your needs will be met in this day.

Met in ways that perhaps you couldn't plan for intellectually.

As you continue to feel into the breath,

Feel into the energy of things unfolding in a way that brings a smile to your face.

As you sit and breathe,

The mind with its tendencies to wander,

Reflect,

And fall back to habits of thinking of the very things that you don't want to invite in your experience,

Notice it,

See it for what it really is,

And accept it as is.

Keep in mind that acceptance is not agreement,

And just breathe through it.

And as you breathe,

Notice any tension rising and releasing,

And just allow yourself to bring your attention back to the feeling of things working out better than you can imagine.

As a gentle reminder,

You are enough exactly as you are from the moment that you were birthed into this incarnation.

You had every single thing that you could ever possibly need to bring forth whatever is seeking to express through you.

So keeping that in mind,

Remember who you are,

That all things are possible.

Immerse yourself in the feeling,

Shifting any perspective or habits to revert back to preparing yourself to the worst case scenario,

And simply allow yourself to feel into the energy that all your needs are met in this moment,

In the moments that are to come as the day unfolds.

Breathe through it.

At the top of the next breath,

Affirm either silently to yourself or out loud,

I am open and receptive to more good than I can possibly imagine.

Exhale.

The top of the next breath,

I am open,

Receptive,

And available to more good than I could possibly imagine.

Breathe.

Continue to breathe,

Inhaling and exhaling through your nose,

Feeling into the stillness of your body,

Allowing it to soothe you.

And feeling into the energy that all of your needs are met.

I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation for you being in practice with this morning mindfulness practice,

And I would like for you to do the same for yourself.

Send that same thanks,

Gratitude,

And appreciation to yourself,

Your mind,

Body,

And spirit,

All thank you for it.

Float your eyes open,

Bring you back to this space.

Have an amazing day.

Thank you.
