Hello and welcome to this guided meditation from Self Healing Mondays.
A little time to step out of your life and recharge,
Slow down and find some peace from all the chaos of day to day life.
Today's guided meditation is about everything you need already being right there inside of you.
I know it doesn't often feel like the things that we need are already there inside of us.
In fact we spend our lives looking outside of us to feel safe,
To feel happy,
To feel loved,
To feel worthy.
But what if this whole time you've just been looking the wrong way?
All I'm asking is that you have the willingness of an open mind to change direction.
Just for this meditation to look inside yourself instead of outside yourself for the things that you need and the things that you long for.
You have everything you need already inside of yourself.
You just need to build a connection,
Start a relationship with you to discover all the things that you need and want are already right there inside of your heart and your soul.
You look outside of yourself for answers when the wisdom you're craving already lives inside of you.
You look outside of yourself for love when no one can love you more perfectly and unconditionally than yourself.
You look outside of yourself to affirm your worth but your heart already knows how worthy you are.
Everything we look for we already have but we're too busy looking the other way to find it.
We need to spend a little more time delving inside of ourselves instead of fearing and avoiding what lies within us.
We've disconnected from ourselves in an eternal search for happiness search for happiness but it's true deep honest loving connection to yourself that is the doorway to joy and acceptance.
So now we're gonna do a little visualization together to try and look the other way and go deeper within.
Before we begin just take some nice deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth in through your nose out through your mouth and once more in through your nose and out through your mouth.
I want you to imagine yourself sitting opposite you right now staring back into your eyes staring back into your soul not a reflection in a mirror but you sitting opposite yourself spending time with yourself.
Don't look at the flaws on your face don't criticize what you're wearing or how you're feeling or what you're thinking.
We don't need the inner critic here.
You can say thank you to the inner critic but here it is not needed and I want you to try and let go of any thoughts and feelings go of any thoughts and feelings you have ever had towards yourself before this moment.
Let them all go.
Look at yourself as if you're seeing yourself from fresh eyes and look at yourself not your physical self but who you are the essence of you your heart and your soul like you're seeing yourself for the very first time without any past criticisms or judgments and see how beautiful and pure you really are.
See how much love you've got to give how you touch the world just by being you.
See how fragile and tender and sensitive you are how much you've overcome how many ups and downs and twists and turns you've survived.
Aren't you amazing?
I see how amazing you are.
Isn't it time you see yourself for your truth?
Can you let yourself see yourself for how amazing you really are?
I know it might be scary but for this last song I'm gonna leave you in peace and quiet face to face with yourself seeing yourself meeting yourself without any of the past the trauma any previous judgments or misconceptions.
Just see yourself for the pure innocent being that you are.
Be tender and loving with yourself.
You deserve it.
You deserve to see and appreciate your magnificence now.
Well done my beautiful fellow traveler.
Just for a few moments you chose to look the other way.
You didn't look outside of yourself.
You connected to yourself and had the willingness to be with yourself and maybe it felt uncomfortable.
Maybe you couldn't look into your own heart and soul and that's okay.
There is no right or wrong way of being here.
Just the willingness to connect to yourself to heal yourself.
So thank you and now please find a pen and a notebook and continue to connect to yourself for the next 10 minutes.
Don't overthink it.
Just write whatever comes to you.
Get to know who you are.
