Welcome everyone.

I'm Sasha and I will guide you through a 10 minute meditation today that will focus on trust.

Have a comfortable seat,

Ankles crossed or you're sitting on your knees or on a chair or laying down somewhere.

If you're laying down,

Please make sure that the backs of your knees are supported.

So place a pillow underneath them.

Just get comfortable,

Take a few moments doing that.

You have arrived,

This time is for you.

Notice if there is any tension in the body,

In the feet,

The shins,

The knees,

The thighs.

Take some deep breaths into a space if it needs releasing,

If it needs softening.

And then take some time going through the whole body doing that.

So the hips,

Waistline,

Core,

Front of the chest,

Shoulders,

Back of the heart,

Neck,

Throat,

Mouth,

Cheeks,

Forehead,

Top of the head.

Draw your shoulders back slightly.

And then slowly feel the opening in your heart,

In your chest,

Front side of the body.

And support that opening by a slight engagement of your core.

Notice what it feels like to be open,

To sit proud,

To trust your body,

Trust your breath,

To trust your internal landscape.

It's always been there,

It's holding you right now.

Nothing inside of it is permanent,

Yet you get to hold and express the things you choose.

And it's those things that you hold,

Those things that you express outward,

Create your external circumstance.

And yes,

There are things in life that we can't control,

Yet we trust the process,

We trust ourselves to get through them.

The only job you have right now is to cultivate that trust,

To know that you can.

You can get through whatever is in front of you.

Take the next few moments to acknowledge the things and maybe even the people that support you,

That are holding you up.

It can be anything like the earth that you're sitting on right now that's supporting you,

Or the bed that you're laying on,

Or maybe it's a certain person,

Maybe a few.

Just go through them in your mind and remind yourself of their power,

Of their love,

And maybe send some of that power and some of that love back to them.

Send some of that power and some of that love back to that support system.

Imagine that your breath is a vehicle through which you can give and receive trust,

Give and receive love.

Now use your breath to inhale in trust and love,

And then you exhale it back to your support system.

And go through a few rounds of that,

Each one a little more clear,

More powerful.

If you've drifted away from that intention of breath and trust,

Come back to it,

And go through a few more rounds.

If nothing else,

The earth is always there to hold you,

To be with you.

Breath is always there to hold you,

To be with you,

Fuel you with more power,

And to allow you to trust.

Please stay here.

Perhaps move into a more reflective space of meditation where you sit just with the body,

Just with your breath,

Your thoughts.

Or you can come out of this when you're ready.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

Till next time.
