Welcome.

We're going to take a moment to settle into a comfortable position just making sure that you are in a spot that you can just receive these beautiful words.

You don't need to fix anything.

We're just going to allow your body to arrive and just take one slow deep breath in through your nose and a longer breath out through your mouth.

Just allowing yourself to feel the breath in your body,

Waking up the awareness.

And the words I'm going to say to you,

You can either repeat them or just receive them.

And I just want you to allow the words to meet you gently.

And let's begin.

You matter.

Just let your body hear that.

Let your body receive it.

And notice if it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Maybe there's relief,

Support.

Just noticing without judgment.

You matter even when you're tired.

You matter even when you don't have it all together.

You don't have to earn your worth.

You don't have to prove anything to deserve care.

You matter simply because you exist.

You are allowed to take up space.

You are allowed to have needs.

You are allowed to rest.

You matter even when you slow down.

You matter even when you say no.

You matter even when you choose yourself.

There is nothing wrong with you for wanting support.

There is nothing wrong with you for needing care.

You matter just as you are.

I'm just taking a moment to let that settle,

All the words that were just spoken to your body.

And let your body feel what it's like to be spoken to with kindness.

And now if it feels okay,

You might begin to say these words to yourself or just continue to receive.

There's no pressure either way.

Your body can decide what feels right.

I matter.

My needs matter.

My feelings matter.

My presence matters.

I don't have to earn my worth.

I am allowed to take up space.

I am allowed to rest.

I am allowed to receive support.

I matter just as I am.

And if it feels supportive,

Placing one hand on your heart or somewhere else on your body that feels comforted when you bring your hands.

Take a slow breath in and an easy breath out.

Notice how your body responds to these words.

There's nothing to force.

Just allow your system to receive what it's been needing to hear.

Remembering that you can return to these words whenever you need them.

You matter.

And when you're ready,

You can remind yourself,

I matter.

Just taking one last gentle breath in for this meditation,

Just allowing yourself to feel the breath.

Nice big exhale knowing that you're going to carry this with you throughout the day and return to it whenever you need reminding.
