Hello,

This is Sarah Ann Ritchie.

Let's sink into some stillness together,

Getting as comfortable as you possibly can on your chair,

On your cushion,

On your mat,

And beginning by just witnessing your breath as it comes in and as it goes out.

No need to change that breath.

Just allowing it to be exactly as it is.

Just meeting it.

Meeting yourself exactly where you are.

As you continue to witness that breath as it comes in and as it goes out,

Beginning to notice that in the very act of witnessing that breath,

Your body begins to relax just a little.

Your mind begins to let go just a little.

Feeling your shoulders soften away from your ears,

Your hips land on the chair,

On the cushion,

On the mat,

On Mother Earth.

Surrendering any tension in the palms of your hands and soles of your feet.

And just continuing to witness your breath,

Watching the pathway of that breath as it passes up through your nose,

Over your sinuses,

All the way down your throat to the base of your lungs.

And passing your lungs,

Imagining that breath could travel through your diaphragm and all the way to the lower abdomen,

To the root chakra.

And then witnessing and watching that breath as you exhale.

Lower abdomen,

Diaphragm,

Lungs,

Throat,

Sinuses,

And nose.

Watching that breath as it travels all the way in.

Witnessing that breath as it travels all the way out.

Allowing yourself to feel and sense that wave of breath as it comes in.

And the wave of that breath as it goes out.

Witnessing that wave as it comes in.

Noticing the subtle pause at the top of the breath before it goes back out.

Witnessing that breath as it comes in.

And watching that breath as it goes out.

As you continue to breathe,

Just holding sacred space for all that you are in this moment.

No need for perfection.

No need for effort.

Just simple presence.

Being exactly who you are in this moment.

Witnessing that breath as it comes in.

Watching that breath as it goes out.

Stay with me in stillness as long or as little as you like.

Each day we sit in stillness is different.

Each moment we invite stillness is a gift.

Wishing you a day of peace,

Love,

And kindness.
