This meditation is for attracting abundance.

Now this could be abundance of money,

Abundance in relationship,

And good communication,

And love,

And self-compassion.

So you choose what you want to invite into your practice,

Invite into your body and mind,

And invite in your day and maybe the days ahead.

We'll start by finding a comfortable seat,

Either on the floor or on a chair,

Or maybe you might decide to lie down on a yoga mat or in your bed.

Once you get nice and comfortable,

Relaxing the eyes,

Relaxing facial muscles,

Relaxing ears and ear canals,

The jaw joints.

We'll soften the front of the neck,

Sides of the neck,

Back of the neck.

We'll relax the throat,

Dropping into our chest,

Relaxing our chest muscles,

Armpits,

Our back muscles.

We'll find our way down into the tummy,

Softening the muscles around the belly button,

Close the surface of the skin a little bit deeper,

All the way into the belly and all the organs inside.

We'll find our way into the hips,

Into our thighs,

Into the legs,

And the body gradually drops into a deeper,

Heavier,

More grounded state.

We'll bring attention to our breath,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now for this practice,

You may wish to have your palms face up.

Your fingers might curl inwards as if you are in a gesture of receiving,

Receiving from your higher power,

From the greater good,

From universe,

From God,

From whatever you resonate with.

We'll notice the flow of energy just through our breath,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Breathing in and breathing out.

So we have three gateways,

Let's call these energetic gateways in the body.

You are going to feel them physically as well.

We'll move our head up and down a little bit.

We'll move the chin from side to side a little bit,

Moving our head from side to side.

And you might feel this,

This maybe lock or doorway or gateway in your throat area.

So this is called Jalandharabandha,

It's that throat lock or chin lock.

And we'll position the chin in such a way that it feels quite open,

Especially the throat or trachea,

And nice and open,

Breath moving in as we breathe in cool air,

As we breathe out warm air.

And then we find our way into the chest and rib cage area.

So in this chest and rib cage area,

Again,

Breathing in,

And you might feel your lungs,

Kind of the bronchial tubes into the little alveoli filling up and emptying.

You might notice how your chest and rib cage expands like a little umbrella,

Front and back,

Side to side.

And even this kind of feeling inside the body as the diaphragm pushes downwards.

And this expansion up and down through the body,

All the way down towards the pelvis,

And all the way up towards our diaphragm or rib cage area.

At this point,

We're going to arrive into a place called Udhyanabandha.

It's the tip of maybe the solar plexus area,

Where our rib cage moves sideways,

The right and left,

Kind of flares open to right and left.

So you'll feel your diaphragm as you breathe in,

Kind of moves forwards and downwards,

Breathing in.

And as we breathe out,

The diaphragm lifts back up and hides under the lower ribs into that kind of disc shape.

This is Udhyanabandha.

We're opening up this gateway and you might like to do a little cat-cows.

Whether you're seated or lying down,

You might be able to arch your lower back and then straighten the lower back.

So this rounding of the spine as we drop the chin,

Maybe forwards,

The shoulders might draw forwards.

And then arching of the lower back as we straighten the spine or move the chin away,

Move the shoulders away from each other.

And the shoulder blades might get close to one another in the back of the rib cage.

Udhyanabandha is activated,

Opening up this area.

From here,

We'll drop into our pelvic bowl.

So bring attention to the pelvic bowl area,

Front of the pelvis,

Back of the pelvis,

Around the tailbone,

Sacrum,

Sides of the pelvis,

Those ilium crests,

The top of the pelvis where they're a bit bony,

We can place our hands on our hips.

And the lower part of the pelvis,

If you're seated,

You might feel the sit bones,

Those ischium bones sitting on the ground,

Your chair.

If you're lying down,

There's no pressure on them.

Your legs might be straight or bent.

So we are nuzzled in our pelvic bowl at the moment.

Just taking all the information here,

The way breath moves,

The way belly is communicating with the pelvis and all the organs seated here in this pelvic bowl.

The way your pelvic floor muscles draw away from each other as we breathe in and then draw back together as we breathe out.

So where the perineum is,

Pelvic floor is,

And we all have it,

It's this diamond shape between our tailbone and pubic bone from sit bone to sit bone,

There's this diamond shape.

We'll bring our attention there and just maybe,

Maybe just a couple of inches or even a few centimeters away from the surface of our skin.

We'll come inside the body and if we could relax this area,

If you've clenched your bum cheeks,

We'll soften them.

If you feel tension in your pelvic floors or this gripping,

We can soften the pelvic floor muscles.

The weaving at the base of the basket of our pelvic bowl,

For example,

That softens.

And this is Mula Bandha,

It's our kind of root lock or the base lock.

We're softening this area,

Activating it,

Bringing more awareness.

And again,

The teeter-totter of the lower back,

The arching and straightening might help that.

The gripping a little bit and loosening of the area might help.

The clenching of our pelvic floor muscles,

The arching and loosening of the area might help.

The clenching of our buttocks and relaxing the bum cheeks might help bring more attention to Mula Bandha.

So three gateways,

We were at the throat lock earlier,

The diaphragm or rib cage lock,

And now the Mula Bandha or the base lock,

Root lock.

All three have opened up.

And at this point,

You might draw yourself into this place of surrender,

This idea of relaxation,

Inviting effortless ease and feeling more peace.

Again,

Real awareness,

The breath,

Big inhale,

Big exhale.

At this point,

Reconnecting to that higher power,

To the force around us that we can't see with our human eyes,

To the vibrations,

The energy around us,

The magnetic pull within the body,

Around the body.

As the hands sit in this gesture of receiving,

This gesture of offering,

We're offering what we want,

Our trust,

Our beliefs,

And we are receiving what we want.

We are receiving the goods.

We are receiving blessings.

We are receiving an abundance of whatever your heart desires.

Now,

If your fingers have curled towards your palms,

Let's slowly,

Slowly move the fingers away.

Open your palms bigger.

Notice,

Notice the gifts that you are receiving energetically,

Mentally,

Emotionally.

And from here,

We're going to lift our palms towards our forehead or the crown of the head.

The palms lift and slowly lift and slowly lift as if you were drawing energy,

Moving energy upwards.

Once the palms arrive to the crown of the head,

The palms will face down towards the crown of our head.

And then from here,

We'll slowly,

Slowly bring the hands closer and closer to the crown of our head,

To our forehead,

Palms facing our face,

Palms getting closer to our eyes,

Our nose,

Our cheeks,

Our lips,

Our throat,

And the hands will gently sit on our heart center.

Now,

For this practice,

It doesn't matter which palm sits on top and which palm is held underneath closest to your skin or your body.

We have palm on top of palm,

Stacked on top of each other,

If you feel comfortable to do so.

And all that we put out there and all that we received,

We're bringing it inwards and taking it in,

Sealing our practice,

Honoring our practice,

And welcoming the abundance we deserve and we deserve lots.

Welcoming the joy,

The love,

The peace,

Welcoming the relationship that we are craving,

We're wanting,

We're seeking.

Abundance of wealth,

Could be money,

Could be riches,

And maybe just peace,

And information,

Positive information,

Could be in karma.

So whatever it is that your heart is desiring,

You're taking it all in,

All in,

All in.

And from that place of acceptance,

We'll bring the palms together in Anjali Mudra,

Prayer Mudra,

Peace Mudra,

Or Gratitude Mudra,

Palms facing one another,

Thumb pads,

Finger pads are touching each other,

Palms are touching one another.

If you are seated,

We'll bring the chin close to our chest,

We'll bow our head towards our hands,

Our heart,

Our body.

If you're lying down,

You can keep your palms as they are,

Facing one another on your back,

And then we'll slowly,

Slowly open our eyes.

We'll gently,

Gently release the mudra,

Take a nice deep breath in,

A nice long smooth deep breath out,

And walk into a world of abundance that's waiting for you.

Namaste.
