This one-minute mindfulness exercise is excellent for grounding in the present moment - getting out of your head and into your body. Great for when you're feeling stressed out or simply a good way to reset and transition from one part of your day into the next.

When you need a moment but you only have a minute,

Try this one minute mindfulness exercise with me.

Wherever you are sitting or standing,

Bring your awareness to your body as a whole.

Feel the weight of your feet on the ground.

Give your toes a bit of a wiggle.

And now bring your awareness to the tip of your nose and inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

Inhale through the nose.

And exhale through the mouth.

Bring your awareness down to your toes.

Give them a bit of a wiggle.

Give your shoulders a bit of a shrug and gently bring yourself back to the room and continue on with your day.
