And welcome to 5-Minute Affirmations to Calm Your Nervous System.

I am safe.

Feeling my feet on the earth keeps me grounded and present.

I am able to hold my emotions with tenderness and care.

Knowing this will pass allows me to relax and accept my current emotional state.

It is okay to rest to reset and resource my body and mind.

I am doing my best given this situation.

I will hold myself gently with empathy for as long as this emotional state lasts.

With each out breath,

I release tension from my muscles and reset my nervous system.

I am able to soothe and protect my inner child.

Noticing and staying with my breath allows me to relax and stay mindful.

My health and security are of the highest priority to me.

When I take care of myself,

I can self-regulate and resource myself.

Staying connected to myself keeps me safe.

Taking care of myself is essential to my well-being.
