Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position that allows you to be relaxed but alert.

Fully awake and aware,

But also at ease.

Settle in,

Tuck in,

And relax into your body.

As you're coming to stillness,

There's a sense that you're pausing and arriving in presence.

Notice the state of your body right now.

Simply and without judgment,

Just notice.

Relaxing happens naturally when we bring attention to our body.

As if your body is changing states from solid to liquid,

From liquid to gas.

Notice the state of your mind and your heart as it is.

Your mind might be racing,

Or it might be calm and clear.

Your heart might be full of joy and contentment.

It might be heavy with grief and sadness.

Any of these states you're just noticing.

Being an observer of what's happening in the moment as it is.

You might bring a natural and gentle attention to your inhales and your exhales.

Without changing anything at all about your breath.

Just letting your mind stay rested on the natural flow of your inhales and your exhales right now.

Knowing that if another more prominent sensation arises,

You can acknowledge it.

And just redirect your attention back to your breath.

Feel now the sensation.

Whatever it is that's beneath you,

Supporting you,

A chair,

A cushion,

The floor,

The ground.

Acknowledge the connection between your body and that grounded surface.

Feel that grounded sensation of being present.

Relax into that sensation.

Relax into whatever is right now with a receptive awareness.

Your field of awareness expanding to your entire body.

Be with the sensation of aliveness in your body.

Sense it as a physical form.

Sense it as a field of changing sensations.

Acknowledge how you feel in simply being present.

And know that you can return to this feeling again and again throughout your day.

When you feel ready to do so,

Flutter your eyes open if they were closed.

Let them readjust to the light of the room or your space.

And awaken into the world around you.

Carry on with your day,

Bringing this sense of peace and relaxation and ease with you.

Namaste.
