Hello,
My love,
And welcome to the Somatic Dance Floor.
This is a quickie,
But very,
Very powerful.
So right away,
Let's begin.
Take a look around.
Make sure you've got space to move freely,
And when you're ready,
I want you to lower the gaze or close the eyes completely.
Closing the eyes signals to the body that we're ready to let go of the past,
That we're ready to feel the feelings that we haven't felt.
Without stories,
Without pathologizing,
Without criticizing,
Without holding on,
Ready to allow it to come up and out.
And if closing the eyes feels like too much right now,
Just lower the gaze right up to the floor where you are standing.
And to begin,
I want you to start to invite a shake into your body.
You may want to start shaking through your hands and allow the shaking to move up through your arms,
Into your chest,
Into your neck,
Into your head,
And then down through your chest,
Into your hips,
Into your legs,
All the way to the bottom of your feet.
Just invite a shake all over.
Most important here,
The bridge from mind into body is the breath.
So take a deep breath in and an audible exhale through the mouth.
And as you shake,
Your exhales will sound like mine.
Inhale deeply and exhale audibly.
Find your flow here.
Try to find a rhythm that feels comfortable for you,
For you to stay in it for another 30 seconds.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale audibly,
And keep shaking.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale audibly,
Keep shaking.
Keep going,
Keep going,
Keep going.
Beautiful job,
Beautiful job.
Keep going,
Keep going.
Yes,
Yes,
Yes,
Yes.
Now,
Make it count.
Inhale deeply through the nose and let out a big,
Audible exhale,
As loud as you can get,
And then stop the shaking,
Come into a posture of non-movement,
And bring your hands over the heart and say,
Dear past,
I'm ready to let go.
Dear body,
I'm ready to feel what I haven't felt.
And then with that instruction,
Allow the body to start to move.
Allow the body to start to move.
Maybe your arms are swinging around.
Maybe your hips start to move.
Maybe you start to undulate your spine.
How does the body want to move?
How does the past want to make its way up and out of your body?
There's no right way to let go of stress in the body.
This should look like anything that perhaps you've seen.
It should look weird and strange.
And that is the better.
The weirder,
The better.
The stranger,
The better.
Keep moving,
Keep moving.
This is the way to release stress,
Release emotional pain without talking about it.
Feel your way through this.
Allow the body to move what is stuck.
Allow the body to do its beautiful,
Natural healing process,
Allowing emotions to complete their natural cycle through movement.
Keep going,
Keep going.
And give me a deep breath in and an auto exhale.
One more time.
Deep breath in.
Maybe bring your arms up to the sky and you exhale.
Bring your arms down to the floor next to you and keep moving,
Keep moving,
Keep moving.
You're doing amazing here.
Keep it going,
Keep it going,
Keep it going.
Yes,
Yes.
What part of your body have you not moved?
Maybe you want to say one more time,
Dear body,
I'm ready to let go of the past.
Dear body,
I'm ready to feel what I haven't felt.
And move,
Move.
Allow the movements to be intuitive.
Do not think about the movements.
Do not activate your critical thinking about how you're moving.
You shouldn't move this way because it means this and it means that.
Let all that go.
Move before you think.
Feel your way through this moment.
Allow the body to guide and get out of the way.
Let's go.
We're almost there.
Keep it going,
My dear.
You're doing great.
We're almost there.
We're almost there.
Almost there.
Yes,
Yes,
Yes.
And then let it all go.
Let it all come into a strong posture of non-movement.
And gather every little part of your attention and scan your inner world.
Take a look inside.
What is it like inside now?
Do you notice any changes?
Perhaps you notice that the stress you're holding has moved.
And just bring your hands in prayer over the heart and dedicate the merit of our practice to all beings ever.
And may all beings with no exception experience this release that I just experienced.
Thank you so much.
Come back all the time that you need a release.
