Today, I want us to talk about that nagging little voice—the one that follows you from morning to night, whispering critiques about your body, your choices, your worth. The voice that tightens when clothes don’t fit quite right, or when comparison creeps in. But what if today, you changed the frequency? What if you tuned into a gentler station—one that speaks with softness, reverence, and compassion? That’s the practice. Not silencing yourself, but choosing a kinder voice.

Today,

I want us to talk about that nagging little voice.

I'm sure you're a little too familiar with it.

It's the little voice you hear from the moment you wake up,

Until the moment you go to sleep at night.

It's reminding you of all the little things that are physically wrong with you.

It's that little voice that comes online when you eat something you shouldn't.

It's that little voice that reminds you of the clothes that don't seem to fit as well as they used to.

It's that little voice that pushes you down in mental loops,

Reminding you of all the reasons why this woman or that woman looks better than you.

Well,

Today's practice is about turning that little voice off,

Or at least changing the radio station to a softer,

More compassionate one.

So let's begin by taking a deep belly breath,

So you can place your right hand over your belly if you'd like,

Really feeling your belly rise.

Don't worry,

No one is watching.

And as you exhale,

Feeling as though a weight is leaving your body,

Leaving you feel lighter.

Let's do another one.

Deep breath in,

Belly breath,

Feeling your belly rise.

And as you exhale,

Feeling that weight leaving,

Making you feel just a little lighter.

Good,

Now you can softly close your eyes,

If they weren't closed already,

Or you can keep them open with a soft gaze.

Now,

Starting by scanning the body.

Notice the softness of your features.

And what I mean by softness is,

Yes,

The actual smoothness of your features,

But mostly where fat tends to rest in your body.

So,

Notice the softness of your cheeks,

The softness of your neck,

Shoulders,

Upper arms,

The softness of your hands,

The softness of your back.

Notice the softness of your breasts.

And now your belly.

Let's stay for a few moments here.

As we take another deep belly breath,

Expand your belly.

And a big exhale out.

Good work.

Now,

Notice the softness of your hips,

Buttocks,

The softness of your thighs,

Legs,

And feet.

Now there's a concept in Ayurveda that I always like to be reminded of,

Especially when we tend to let that little voice take more space than it should.

This concept is one of Ojas.

Ojas is your plumpness,

The real glow someone has,

Not a glow from using makeup.

It's the softness of your lips,

Skin.

Ojas is the healthy fat that rests in different areas of your body.

It's what keeps you sound asleep at night,

And it's what keeps you calm despite the outer chaos.

It's the softness and soothing sound of someone's voice.

Ojas is what's keeping you wet and juicy and horny and fulfilled and content.

It's what makes someone warm,

Loving,

And kind.

So when your little voice is reminding you of all the things that are wrong with your soft features,

These little attacks go straight towards your Ojas and depleting it.

So when you find yourself stuck in mental monologues of all the things that are physically wrong with your body,

Especially the softness of it,

Remind yourself of this simple affirmation.

I love my soft features.

This softness keeps me calm,

Grounded,

Warm,

And loving.

I love my soft features.

This softness keeps me calm,

Grounded,

Warm,

And loving.

I love my soft features.

This softness keeps me calm,

Grounded,

Warm,

And loving.

I will leave you for a short moment.

You can repeat this affirmation in your mind if you want,

Or simply tune in to how repeating it makes you feel.

Good work.

Now as we slowly start to close off this practice,

You can gently start to wake up your body by taking a deep breath in.

This time filling up your lungs,

Really feeling your chest rise.

And a deep exhale out.

Perhaps starting to move your fingers and toes.

If you want to softly move or stretch your neck,

Yawn.

Move your limbs,

Come back in your body.

Take all the time you need.

And only when you're ready,

Gently blinking your eyes open.

I am so proud of you.

I love you and you did an amazing job.

Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
