Hi I'm and thank you for joining me for this womb meditation.
So to begin find a comfortable lying down position either on the floor or on the bed.
Get some pillows behind your head,
Support yourself,
Make yourself really comfortable and give yourself the permission to use support pillows,
Blocks,
Bolsters,
Eye pillows so that you are comfortable for the next 10 minutes or so.
This time is for you,
It's you to connect with your womb space,
Your creative center,
So make sure that your phone is on silent or do not disturb so that you will not be disturbed for the next 10 minutes or so.
Get yourself a nice little cozy blanket or just a soft light covering as we race and as our nervous systems and mind settle into a restful peaceful state our body temperatures tend to drop.
So if you find yourself in a cold environment,
On a cold evening or a cool evening just make sure that you won't be disturbed by this temperature dropping of the body.
So as you find that comfortable place for you to lie,
To be supported,
See if you can get yourself a 3 or 5 percent more cozy,
More comfortable in such a way that you can completely surrender into your support and completely surrender all efforts.
Don't force your eyes closed,
Take a deep inhale,
Exhale release with a beautiful cleansing breath,
Sigh.
Two more like this,
Fill the lungs with a big breath,
Deep inhale.
As you exhale,
Release it with a big sigh.
And one more time,
Deep inhale,
Link your eyes closed.
Just take a moment to let go of the day behind you.
All your responsibilities of the rest of the day can just wait for a few minutes as you take time to connect with yourself,
With your body and with your womb.
Bring your hands together,
Palms touching and then rub your palms vigorously to create heat.
Make sure the palms are warm and then place your warm palms onto your room space or your lower abdomen,
Your creative center in whichever way feels comfortable for you.
Our rooms are a place or a seat of our desires,
Our attachments,
Disattachment,
The place where we can store a lot of energy but it's also a place where we can tap into the divine creative energy,
However that show up for you.
I've also referred to as your second heart and from the Chinese meridian therapy theories,
There is an energetic connection between your heart and your womb,
The one feeds into the other.
Take a moment and let that just sink in for you.
Your womb space is a creative center,
A gateway for the divine energy,
Divine creative energy to flow through and it's deeply connected to your heart space.
So now bring your focus on to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Follow the breath in through your nose and out through your nose.
And then follow the breath in through the nose,
To the back of the throat,
Into the lungs and then from the lungs out through the back of the throat out the nose.
The air going in through the nose is cool and dry and the air leaving the body is warm and moist.
Pushing your cool dry air through the nose,
Throat,
The lungs all the way down through the belly into your lower abdomen into the room space.
Compressing it in there and the inhale exhale releasing warm moist air through the heart,
Back of the throat and out the nose.
Continue in this way,
Deep breath in through the nose,
Through the heart,
Through the belly and down into the room.
Feel your hands move as the breath presses down into the lower abdomen and with every exhale surrender that three or four five percent more into the support underneath you.
Let go of physical tension,
All effort,
All control as you surrender breath through the heart space,
The back of the throat and out the nose.
Warm moist air leaving the body together with physical,
Emotional,
Mental tension.
Continue breathing in this way,
Breathing cool dry air in through the nose,
The throat,
The heart,
The belly and down deep and down into the base of the belly and then release the breath and as you release the breath you release tension and you surrender a little more into your support.
And just giving yourself a few moments in time and space to get this energetic physical and mental reconnection to your womb,
To your creative center,
The seat of your desires.
Reconnecting,
Re-establishing a pathway between your heart and your room.
No judgments,
No attachments,
Just breathing,
Reconnecting.
And it's so easy for the mind to book on thoughts or sounds or stories so whenever you notice that the mind is on some kind of mission anywhere outside your heart in your room and just notice and keep directing your awareness,
Your centered focus to the breath and to your practice.
There's no way to go and there's nothing to do but just breathe,
Be with your breath and your womb space.
Let there be no judgments,
Let there be no attachments,
Just breath,
Energy,
Focus and surrender.
And then gently letting go of your hands onto your room space,
Drop them to either side of your body,
Start to wiggle your toes and your fingers,
Your wrists and your ankles.
Release your head from side to side,
Deepen your breath into your belly,
Stretch your arms up above your head,
Point your toes coming into a full body,
Stretching out the whole body,
Deep inhale.
So release with a sigh,
Hug your knees in towards your chest,
Rock from side to side,
Rolling onto your left side into a fetal position and just take a moment here,
Feeling the earth underneath us,
Our eternal mother,
Always there to hold,
Guide and nourish us.
Just take a moment to take that in and then with your eyes closed,
Gently push yourself back up into a seated position,
Bring your hands together in prayer at your heart center,
Rub your palms,
Vigorously creating heat and bring your warm palms over your closed eyes,
Allow the heat to drain into the eye sockets,
Blink your eyes open underneath your cup palms,
Letting some light open the hands,
Open the fingers and release your hands.
This concludes our practice for today.
May you continue to find pockets of peace within your own heart,
Soul and being.
Namaste.
