Today we're going to do a breathing,

Visualized breathing technique to activate and balance the five koshas,

The physical body,

The energy body,

The emotional body,

The psychic body.

We're going to use the chakras.

So according to the Srima school of transformation,

We have the root chakra and the crown chakra together,

They make up the physical body,

Sacral chakra and Ajna,

The third eye chakra forming the prana body and then the navel chakra and the throat chakra together forming the mental body and then the heart is divided into two,

The lower and the higher heart chakra forming the psychic body.

So when you're ready just coming into a nice seated position,

Make sure your spine is nice and straight,

Feel the support underneath you gently blink your eyes closed.

Just take a moment now to just let go of the day behind us,

Relaxing into the present moment as you surrender all stories about the week ahead and the day,

Your to-do lists and just take a few moments now for yourself,

Sitting in stillness,

Just you,

Your body and your breath.

Starting to bring your awareness down to your root chakra,

For men it's at the base of the spine or the perineum and women it's at the cervix.

The color is red,

At the same time become aware of your crown chakra,

The energy center at the crown of your head.

As you breathe in,

Breathe in imagining energy coming in through the crown chakra,

Traveling all the way down into the root chakra on the inhale and as you exhale imagine the energy or the breath going from the root chakra all the way around towards the crown chakra.

Almost like a semi-circle around your body as you inhale imagine the air coming in through the crown chakra,

Traveling around in a semi-circle down towards your root chakra and then exhale root chakra semi-circle all the way up towards your crown chakra.

One more time inhale crown and root,

Exhale root and crown.

Bring your awareness now to your third eye center,

Space between your eyebrows as you inhale imagining the breath going around the semi-circle all the way down towards your sacral chakra.

As you exhale from the sacral chakra the energy travels back up towards the third eye.

Inhale third eye sacral chakra,

Exhale sacral chakra third eye.

One more time third eye sacral chakra and exhale sacral chakra third eye.

The same goes for the throats and manibhura your navel chakras as you inhale follow the breath from the throat towards the navel center and then from manibhura back towards the throat.

Continue two more rounds.

Visualizing the breath or the energy as you breathe finishing your last round now bringing your awareness to your heart.

According to the transformational school of yoga the heart is divided into two the lower and the higher heart chakra.

So we'll start with the higher if you inhale breathing in through the higher heart chakra towards the lower and then from the lower up towards the higher.

Continue two more rounds and then from the top crown inhale root chakra exhale root and crown.

Inhale brow and sacral chakra exhale sacral and brow inhale throat and manibhura exhale manibhura and throat inhale higher heart center towards lower and then lower to higher.

In crown and root root and crown brow and sacral sacral and brow throat and manibhura manibhura and throat higher heart lower heart lower heart higher heart.

Using one more round at each kosha follow your own breath.

After your last round just let go of the visualization following the breath in and out through the nose noticing the stillness that you've created noticing the energy in the body the prana the flow of energy.

See if you can just rest in that for a few breaths.

Starting to deepen your breath.

Keep your eyes closed as you bring your hands together at your heart center in prayer doing a round of palming by rubbing your palms nice and fast cupping your warm palms over your closed eyes allow the heat to drain into the eye sockets relaxing the muscles ligaments tendons behind your eyes.

Once you feel all the energy has been absorbed through your eye sockets blink your eyes open underneath the cupped palms slowly let in some light open the fingers and dropping your hands down.

You are now ready for the rest of your day.

Olina calm.
