Good morning.

This is your moment to gently orientate your mind for the day ahead.

Like a rider guiding a horse,

Our mind simply needs a little direction.

Let's take a few minutes together to ground,

Breathe and choose a mindset that supports you in your day.

Begin by getting comfortable in a sitting position and then bring your awareness down to your feet,

Feeling into your feet.

You might want to move them slightly.

Feel the ground beneath your feet and recognise that you are here right now and you've already begun.

Bring that awareness up to the sitting bones and feel the pressure of the sitting bones in the seat.

Again,

You can move slightly.

Acknowledging that you're here right now,

Your mind and body are connected.

When you're ready,

Take a refreshing,

Cleansing breath in and when you breathe out,

Let your shoulders drop,

Let your jaw loosen and your forehead soften.

Repeat to yourself,

I've got this.

I will take one thing at a time today.

I will meet my day with kindness.

Let those words settle.

And again,

Taking a breath in,

Releasing the shoulders a little further on the breath out and softening the whole face.

Let's take a moment to set our inner intention for the day.

We can name how we want to move through the day,

Even if the outside world's messy and fast.

What do you want on the inside?

Perhaps to feel self-compassion,

Confidence,

Steadiness,

Maybe enoughness.

Once you have named your inner intention for the day,

Take your hand to your chest and raise the corners of your mouth in acceptance of this intention for today and let it rest in your chest like a warm glow.

Solid,

Simple,

Clear.

Taking another breath in and exhaling anything you no longer need,

Any barriers to your intention.

Repeat to yourself,

I can pause.

I can breathe.

I can begin again at any point of the day.

You're ready to gently return to your day.

Remember that you can take a pause,

Breath and return to your intention at any time as often as you need.
