This loving awareness-centered meditation is free from any expectations or bindings. You should not do it for accomplishing a goal or proving a point; it is merely a process to experience and enjoy. With love and kindness meditation comes self-compassion, increased focus and attention, and a deep sense of emotional strength that balances our thoughts and actions. This is an introductory practice, planting seeds in your heart and mind.

Start by welcoming yourself to this practice,

Observing the loving and gently capacity of your in-breath and also observe the capacity and loving awareness of your out-breath.

Just observe for a couple of moments how the breath comes in through your nose and how the breath gently,

Lovingly comes out through your nose.

This practice of observing how the breath comes in and out is how we calm the mind,

How we settle the presence,

The awareness to this moment.

Every time you're within,

Observing the capacity of the breath,

You are here.

Every moment you breathe out,

Observing the capacity of the out-breath,

You are here.

We have the continuous opportunity of being present with the breath.

We are observing the inhalation through the nose and the exhalation through the nose.

For a couple of my moments,

We are observing how we are naturally breathing in and how we are naturally breathing out.

If the mind wanders,

It's a beautiful,

Loving opportunity of bringing the awareness back to the inhalation through the nose and the exhalation through the nose.

We will stay in this presence for a couple of moments,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Settling the awareness of the breath,

Close to that inhalation through the nose and the exhalation through the nose.

For our last moments together,

I will invite you to observe when you breathe in and out if you can.

For a couple of moments,

Repeat mentally to yourself this mantra,

Loving awareness,

Loving awareness,

Loving awareness,

Loving awareness,

Loving awareness,

Loving awareness,

Loving awareness.

Loving,

Forward.

Keeping yourself close to that inhalation capacity of the breath in and then capacity of the breath out.

You are invited to stay here for as long as you wish.

If you're willing you can close this practice by having a full breath in through your nose.

Open and gentle breath out through your mouth.
