The Listening & Subtle Competencies for Healing practice involves bringing awareness to various aspects of our aliveness in service of connecting, including, and integrating what is essential within each of us. A trauma response involves fragmenting some aspect that couldn't be fully addressed in a given moment which is helpful in the short-term but can cause troublesome symptoms later. Healing involves reclaiming these lost bits, gradually and compassionately.

It's going to be just about a 10 or 12 minute meditation.

This will also be something that I can give you as an audio recording after if you want.

And I'll invite you to choose if you want to do this meditation seated,

If you want to stand up and do it with Yes Breath and Creative Joint Play.

My suggestion is over time,

The more you and we can cultivate three sync meditation,

Laying,

Sitting in triangle pose,

Dancing and stillness and movement like the better because it's about coherence and we may yield all sorts of new discoveries by doing it in different ways.

Right?

So we're opening more and more to what needs loving attention in us.

Yeah.

So please choose.

You can have your camera on certainly.

You can always turn it off or move out of it if you want.

So find your place,

Your posture that you would like to be in for about a 10 minute or 12 minute meditation.

Ah,

And just to take these first moments,

Situating yourself and breathing.

Your eyes could be softly open or closed as you wish.

You could be moving or in stillness as you wish.

You cannot do it wrong and this is for you.

And with each breath,

Get a sense of grounding,

How your body connects with the ground in this moment.

Perhaps sensing the ground as a resource,

As a support for you.

Sitting comfortably with curiosity and compassion,

Notice your body sensations.

Notice the ground,

Sense the ground,

The way you're connected,

Supported by your floor,

By Mother Earth through your floor.

As you sense your body,

Notice where in your body do you feel resourced,

Feels maybe pleasurable or a sense of aliveness or streaming feelings.

Notice where in your body do you feel safe at home.

Gently turn your attention and your awareness toward your emotions.

Realizing what you notice on the emotional realm at this moment.

Maybe you feel peace,

Maybe you feel a disturbance,

An uprising or a downwelling.

Maybe you feel an activation,

Some flow of a frustration or a joy or something else.

As you attune and listen for feelings,

Notice how you do that.

How do you shift your attunement toward your emotions that perhaps was different than how you were attuning toward your body sensations?

Just to notice your experience of attuning or listening for emotion.

Listen to attune and listen for thinking.

How are you experiencing your thinking and the movements of mind at this moment?

With compassion and curiosity,

Notice what you notice about your thinking right now.

Finally,

Notice what you notice or recognize.

Start to attune to a sense of spaciousness that moves around and through all of body sensations and emotions and thinking.

Attune to or listen for and to that spaciousness within and around you.

Now I invite you to listen deep into your own heart space.

Just to be available,

Compassionate,

Curious to any feelings or messages from deep in within your own heart.

Okay.

Is there a question alive in you that you want to bring into the spaciousness of your three sync and your heart's wisdom?

It'd be a question from your life that you just want to float through and feel into.

Notice how that question lives in you and what lives in you in response to your own way.

Feel your breath,

Your body,

The floor,

The earth.

Breath beneath you.

Without necessarily changing position,

Just be aware that you're within a group of six of us today.

Kind of be all doing this practice.

Attune to that sense of connection in the practice.

And as you're ready,

Gently bring yourself back.

Stretching or moving and find your way back as you're ready.
