Self-Inquiry Meditation on Cultivating a Minimalist Mindset Begin by getting into a nice comfortable position,
Either lying down or sitting up.
If you're sitting up,
You may want to imagine a string at the top of your head.
And if you were to pull that up,
Creating a little alignment in the spine,
But not too erect.
Creating some space between the vertebrae.
And begin to relax.
Turning within.
Allowing the rest of the day to fade to the background.
As you connect with the breath.
Allowing the breath to bring you into this now,
Present moment.
Consciously intending for the breath to slow down,
To deepen.
Often we move through our day with our breathing so shallow,
It's as if our shoulders are moving up and down.
So we want to take this time to slow down.
To begin with the breath.
Noticing how the belly expands on the inhale.
And collapses on the exhale.
Continuing to focus on the breath.
Taking this moment to tune in,
Tap into that higher mind,
That higher self,
That knower within that knows.
As we ask the following questions.
To have a deeper understanding of who we are,
What we desire,
Who we are here to be.
In order to focus with consistent and deliberate action on what is truly ours to do and be.
And to let everything else go.
All other waste of time or energy to allow that to just fall away.
And get in touch with our true heart's desires.
So we take this moment now,
Tuning in,
Tapping in,
Connecting with source energy.
And ask,
What do I value most?
Just listening for that inner voice,
Perhaps even pictures or images of loved ones.
Pictures or images of specific ideas or activities.
What do I value most?
What is important to me?
Who is important to me?
What do I really value?
What do I value most?
Does my time and energy match my values?
What actions can I take to get more in alignment with my values?
To live in integrity,
Intentionally,
In accordance to my core values.
What do I desire?
What do I really desire?
What do I desire most?
What thoughts can I choose and actions can I take to get in alignment with my true heart's desires?
Continuing to listen to that still,
Small voice.
That knower that knows.
That infinite source of life within me.
Asking my higher self now,
What does my heart want?
What does my heart desire?
What does my heart desire most?
What is the deep desire of my heart?
How can I serve?
What is mine to share?
How can I be of service?
How can I be of service to the world that I desire to experience?
What are my unique gifts to share?
How can I express myself more fully?
What brings me joy?
What do I love doing?
Where do I most feel inspired in my life?
What actions can I take in order to fully live a life of intention?
Cultivating a minimalist mindset in which I take consistent and deliberate action towards my desires and alignment with my values.
Living on purpose with intention in each and every moment and allowing anything and everything that distracts me to fall away and no longer giving any of my time or energy or money to that.
For what I know is that I stand in the full alignment and integrity with the truth of my being.
With this knowing of who I am here to be and what is mine to do.
I live my joy fully and freely.
And I share of my gifts and talents.
I am living my heart's desires.
