Take a nice deep breath,

Releasing the day,

Allowing the mind to slow down,

Surrendering all thoughts,

Placing your complete attention on the breath,

Breathing deep into the belly,

Noticing the rise and the fall of your belly on each breath,

Allowing the breath to bring you into this now present moment,

Consciously intending for the breath to slow down,

To deepen,

Taking the deepest breath you've had all day,

Releasing any tension on the exhale,

Breathing in the quality of peace on the inhale,

And release,

Letting go on the exhale,

Placing your attention now on the top of your head,

Noticing any tingling sensations in the scalp,

Inviting a deep relaxation to move down from the top of your head,

Relaxing the muscles around the eyes,

Releasing any tension in the jaw,

Feeling that deep relaxation moving down the back of the head to the neck,

Throat completely relaxed,

Feeling that deep relaxation energy,

That lightness,

That tingling sensation to move across the back of your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Elbows,

Inside of the elbows,

Forearms,

Wrist,

Hands,

Fingertips,

Completely relax.

Now invite this deep relaxation to move down the front of your body,

Across your chest,

Abdomen,

Belly,

Deeply,

Completely relaxing,

Letting go.

With each and every breath you relax even more.

Now invite this relaxation to move down your spine,

The muscles around the spine,

In the upper back,

Middle back,

Lower back,

Relaxing the nerve endings along the spine,

Completely letting go,

Dropping even deeper into a state of relaxation and rest.

Now inviting the area around the hips,

Pelvic bone,

Completely relaxing,

Letting go of any tension held in this area,

Any stress,

Continuing to breathe and let go.

Inviting this relaxation now to move down the legs,

The thighs,

Backs of the legs,

Relaxing the knees,

Muscles and joints,

Knee caps,

Backs of the knees,

Breathing even deeper now,

Letting go even more.

Inviting this deep relaxation to move down your shins,

Calves,

Ankles,

Completely letting go,

Relaxing your feet,

Tops of the feet,

Bottoms of the feet,

Toes,

From the top of the head to the tips of the toes,

Deeply and completely relax.

Focusing now completely on the breath,

Letting go.

As we move into our practice of releasing the day,

Our letting go,

Ending the day with completion,

Begin to just scan in your mind,

Remembering the day from the moment you woke up this morning.

And just invite any memories to come to mind of an opportunity to forgive yourself,

To let go,

To generate self-love.

Perhaps there was a situation you could have handled more gracefully or kindly.

Perhaps there were words that you said to yourself or another that you could have chosen more wisely.

The opportunity now is just to allow these memories to come to mind and then move into a deep letting go of forgiveness of the self by cultivating a deep sense of self-love,

Knowing that you did your best in each and every moment.

So we work now on the energetic level to forgive,

To let go,

So we do not fall asleep with any resentments,

Hesitations,

Reservations.

Instead,

As we drift peacefully into sleep,

We generate this feeling of self-love,

Of peace,

Complete peace.

Continuing to scan your day now,

Moving into the afternoon,

Just notice any moments that your body perhaps gave you a trigger of,

Something just wasn't right.

Just breathe into that memory and replace that energetic tone of upset with the feeling of love and peace.

We programming the mind and the memory such that we can fall asleep with ease this evening,

Deeply anchored in a sense of love and peace,

Letting everything else go.

Now bring to mind the rest of your day,

Moving into the evening,

All the way up into this point right here,

Right now,

Where you are lying down in bed,

Ready to rest for the night.

Anything else you want to release to clear your mind of,

To let go,

Bring the memory to mind and with the breath,

Gently,

Lovingly,

Accept exactly what happened and infuse that memory with the feeling of peace,

With the feeling of love,

Forgiving yourself and others for anything you may be holding on to this day.

And now for the next few minutes,

As you drift peacefully to sleep,

I will speak the cleansing,

Clearing,

Forgiveness prayer of ho'oponopono and allow this to clear your mind and to drift to sleep with peace and love.
