This is a simple mini practice to get grounded and centred, so as to help you transition you into the next part of your day. Reuben guides us through some simple breath awareness to start with. From there, we get to reflect upon what went well today, before coming back into the body, refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready for the next part of the day.

Here you are,

Back at home.

And here you are,

Willing to settle into this moment by having a little practice.

A practice that allows the day's interactions to subside.

Then once these interactions have subsided,

It prepares you for the next part of your day.

Whatever it is that you are doing,

It is a transition.

A perfect transition.

We usually don't give ourselves this time to wind down,

Quiet the mind.

And get fully grounded so that we can restore.

And fully connect with the next part of our day.

So let's start with a deep breath in through the nose and holding it.

Exhale.

And again,

A deep breath through the nose,

Holding it.

And relax,

Exhale.

You may like to extend your out-breath as you listen to the following words.

Just a touch.

Just a touch.

So that it's still very comfortable to do so.

An extension of that beautiful out-breath.

This breath.

Your ally.

It's been there for you in the past and it's here for you right now.

It's always here for you as your ally to help you get grounded,

Restored,

Should you wish to connect to it.

Let's just focus on a few of these.

As you connect to this gentle movement of your breathing.

Gently acknowledging whilst you focus that you are here for you.

Here's that gentle reminder that we all need from time to time.

You deserve this.

And you are proof of this very fact that you deserve this.

Because right here and now,

Your actions indicate this.

As you hold your body gently in this moment,

Gently extending the out-breath as your nervous system down regulates,

Moving you into a place of rest,

Restoration and healing.

Your actions demonstrate that you deserve this.

I choose to restore.

I choose to recharge.

I choose to transition to this next part of my day.
