In this guided meditation, you are taken on a journey in your mind's eye to explore your health, abundance and happiness. It can be particularly useful to use this meditation at significant moments to reflect on life, such as at a birthday or at the beginning or end of the year. You might like to use the meditation as a journalling activity and have a notebook and pen handy to jot notes during the session. Hello and welcome to my health,

Wealth and happiness guided meditation.

You could also use this meditation as a journaling activity and there'll be points throughout the meditation where we will pause and give yourself an opportunity to make some notes or you might perhaps prefer to just simply use that as extra reflection time.

And instead of using the term wealth I'm going to switch in the word abundance.

I think it's a better term to use to bring in an overall feeling of all that we have and all that we wish to have.

So I invite you to come on with me on a little journey in your mind's eye.

Let's begin by just finding ourselves in a comfortable position.

You might be sitting or lying down in a quiet space where you can be undisturbed for a few moments.

I'd like to bring your focus inward to your breath letting each inhale and exhale flow evenly and effortlessly.

As you bring yourself into your mind's eye I want you to picture yourself standing on the shore of a peaceful lake.

On the sand near the water's edge you'll find a small wooden boat.

Push the boat out into the water and then hop into it.

The water's movement gently carries you away from the shore and you feel safe and relaxed warmed by the Sun above.

You also feel open and curious about the journey ahead.

The boat arrives on the sand of a small island in the lake.

The island is covered in beautiful vegetation.

There are blooming flowers,

Lush plants and fruits ripening.

Step out into this beautiful vegetation.

As you walk under the arbor of some leaves you come across a mirror.

As you take in your reflection you look somewhat different.

Your hair seems shinier,

Your skin is glowing,

Your eyes are sparkling.

There is a version representing your best health looking back at you.

And this reflection whispers remember to place importance on health.

Put health first so that you can enjoy everything else.

This you has another message about your health for the coming months.

What is it?

Pause and listen carefully.

The you in the mirror turns a gaze to the side of the mirror where a large leaf hangs.

A gesture to invite you to take a look.

You move the leaf aside and behind it is a gift for you.

A symbol to you to remind you of your health.

You take the gift.

You thank your reflection for this special symbol and you turn and head back to the boat.

Again you push the boat offshore and you clamber into it.

Leave yourself gently floating there while you take a moment to jot down any notes about the message and the gifted symbol from the health island.

Or simply take a few more moments for some extra reflection.

I invite you now to return to floating safely and peacefully in the boat on the calm lake waters.

Gently float along until the boat bumps into another small island.

You take in the island and it shimmers and glows.

The sand looks like glitter and dew on the plants growing nearby creates a silvery effect.

The Sun above casts out its golden light.

You step out of the boat and take a little stroll along the beach.

As you wander along you come across a treasure chest.

You lift it open and on the inside of the lid is a mirror.

You kneel before it and take in your reflection.

Basking in the radiance of the face looking back at you.

She whispers,

Abundance is all around you.

You are deserving and worthy.

I give you permission to ask for and to seek out what you want.

What else does this treasured you have to tell you about abundance?

What is her message?

After you receive her message you notice her eyes move down to look into the chest and you follow her gaze.

In the chest you find a gift,

A symbol of your abundance.

You graciously take the gift and send gratefulness to your reflection knowing it is time to now head back to the boat.

As you step into the boat it gently floats away on the water and you can leave this image here while you pause to jot down any notes about the message and the symbol from the Abundance Island or pause and reflect.

Find yourself back in the boat as it flows slowly across the water.

The gentle rocking soothes you and carries you and soon you arrive at the other side of the lake.

The boat pulls up alongside a small dock and you step out onto it.

You walk up the dock towards a little hill covered in forest and as you walk along the path through the forest the sunlight filters through the trees and you listen to the birdsong carried on the air.

It's a calm and a safe place.

This path leads you to a small clearing with a tree standing in the middle of it.

Hanging on one of the tree's branches is a mirror.

You gaze at your reflection.

As you look deeply into your own eyes you see contentment and peace and she whispers to you,

You are enough.

You are worthy of love and of happiness.

What other message of happiness does she want to share with you?

As you take in your own face in the mirror you see your reflection's eyes look upward into the tree so you look up there too.

On the branch above sits a gift for you,

A symbol of your happiness.

You take this gift and you give gratitude to your reflection as you turn away to end your journey.

As you move back to the forest path it is leading you back to the space that you rest in,

Back to the present moment.

Your awareness returns to your physical body,

Your breath moving in and out of you.

Take one more deeper inhale and exhale and when you are ready return to the space your eyes open.

I invite you to make any final notes on what you received in the happiness forest and anything else that you wish to journal or to reflect on.
