
Resilient And Resourceful
This co-creative meditation utilizes emotional processing techniques to work with your subconscious to tap into your resilience and resourcefulness. Every time you do this meditation there will be a different result as it gives a framework for your subconscious mind to fill in, creating the most impactful meditation for you in the moment.

Take a nice deep breath.
Close your eyes.
Just feel your body as you relax into whatever surface that you're on.
Just becoming aware of your whole body from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
Just feeling the weight of your body.
Feeling the temperature.
Feeling your breath moving in and out of your body as you're moving your awareness down inside your body.
Just sensing what your body is like from the inside.
Noticing what it's like in there.
Your imagination and your body are going to show you where in your body you carry resilience and resourcefulness.
Where are those feelings in your body?
They can be in two different places or just one.
Just notice where resilience and resourcefulness lives in your body and moving closer to it.
Notice its size,
Its shape,
Its form.
Does it have defined edges?
Is it a shape that you recognize or not?
Is it a solid thing or not?
Does that feeling of resilience and resourcefulness,
Does it have any movement?
What is its color?
Does it have texture?
And even if you don't sense any shape at all,
Maybe it's your whole body.
Maybe it's out and around your body.
Whatever is showing up for you is exactly right,
Even if it doesn't match what I'm guessing.
So just moving your awareness into that feeling of resilience and resourcefulness.
Just feeling what it's like to be there wholly and completely.
What is it like to be in this space?
What is it like to move in this space,
To breathe in this space?
Does it feel the same or different?
And as you're in this space,
Your imagination is going to call forth a virtual resource,
Something safe,
Loving,
And powerful.
Something that provides you protection,
Provides you wisdom,
Provides you guidance.
And it could be anything from a deity of your faith to a person that you know,
A wise and loving ancestor.
It could be human or a piece of nature.
It could be fictional or real.
It could be your future self.
Or you could just sense that this is a journey that you're meant to go on on your own.
And that's fine.
Whatever is showing up for you is exactly right for you.
Notice what it feels like to have your resource there with you or to be on your own.
As you're in this place of resilience and resourcefulness,
Looking from this place back into your past,
Your imagination will bring forth images of all the times that you've been resourceful and resilient.
And however that shows up,
If it shows up like a photo album,
If it shows up like you're moving through time,
However it shows up for you is exactly right for you.
Just notice what it's like to see all these times throughout your life when you've been resilient and resourceful.
And now looking further back,
Further back through your lineage,
Through your family heritage,
Your imagination is going to show you all the resourceful and resilient ancestors.
And whether you know them or you don't know them,
Whether you recognize them from photos or if they're further,
Further,
Further way back,
Notice what it's like to see all those ancestors noticing not their struggle but their capacity,
Their strength.
Notice what it's like to see them and what it's like to see them come out on the other side of whatever struggle,
More resilient and more resourceful.
As you're looking at all of these ancestors,
One in particular will draw your attention.
It could be someone relatively recent or it could be someone way back somewhere or someone that you don't recognize.
Whatever your imagination is bringing forth,
Just move your awareness closer to that ancestor.
Notice what that ancestor looks like,
What it feels like to be in their presence.
And then taking a breath and on the exhale,
Move your awareness into that ancestor,
Looking from their perspective,
Looking through their eyes,
Listening through their ears,
Sensing their body,
Their words,
Their emotions.
And whether it's how they were when they were alive or if it's an evolved self,
Whatever is showing up for you is exactly right.
Just looking through that ancestor's eyes,
Listening through their ears,
Just sense what that ancestor's name is or what they would like to be called.
And as you're feeling yourself inside that ancestor's body,
Find in their body where their resourcefulness and resilience is in them.
What does that look like?
Allow your imagination to give that shape and form,
Your ancestor's resilience and resourcefulness.
Notice how much space it takes up in their body,
Its color,
If it's solid or not,
If it's dense or not.
And then move your awareness into that shape,
The resilience and resourcefulness that's inside your ancestor and speaking for your ancestor from that place to the self that you see your current self.
Speaking for your ancestor,
What I want you to know about me is.

And what I can tell you about resilience and resourcefulness is.

And what it feels like for me,
Your ancestor,
To know that I have so much resilience and resourcefulness is.

.
And what I'm most proud of about our family is.
.
.
Because what I can see from here that you can't see is.

And what I want to pass down to you is.
.
.
And anything else that wants to be spoken from this ancestor to you,
Just allow it to be spoken now.
And how it feels to say all this to you is.

Now moving your awareness back into yourself,
Feeling your own body,
Your own emotions,
Your own words,
And sensing all that's been spoken,
Everything that wants to be given,
Everything that wants to be shared as a stream of colored energy that comes not only to you,
But travels through all of your ancestors,
All of your family,
Not just in one direction,
But spreading throughout the whole of your family tree.
And as that stream of colored energy moves through all of your ancestors,
All of your family,
Each one adding their own resilience,
Adding their own resourcefulness,
Feeling the family bonded together and tight,
Sharing all of this strength and energy that's coming into you.
Notice how this stream of colored energy comes into your body.
Does it come into where you had resourcefulness in your body before?
Or does it come in in another way?
Just feeling all of that energy,
All of that wisdom coming into your body,
Filling you up,
Moving throughout your entire body,
And then speaking back to your ancestor.
What I heard you say and what I felt you give me was.

And how it feels for me to receive that is and what I now know and I didn't know before is.

And what I now know about resourcefulness and resilience is.

And how I already know that this will help me as I move forward through life is.

Is there anything else that wants to be spoken to this ancestor?
Go ahead and speak it now.
And how it feels to say all this is.

Now allowing that interaction with that ancestor to end in any way that feels good,
Moving your awareness back into your body,
Act where you noticed in your body that resilience and resourcefulness lives.
And sensing that resilience and resourcefulness now,
Does it look or feel different?
Or is it the same?
Has it changed in size?
Has the color changed?
Just noticing any differences and what it's like to see that resilience and resourcefulness in your own body.
Notice what that feels like physically,
Emotionally.
And as you're sitting resting in your own resilience,
Your own resourcefulness,
Just feel what it's like to move in that space,
To breathe in that space.
What the world looks like from this space.
And then your body will let you know that all this beautiful work that you've done is anchored all the way down into cellular memory,
Even down into your DNA.
Written in your subconscious mind,
Flashing millions of times every split second without you even thinking about it.
It's also saved in your conscious awareness,
Able to be retrieved as well.
And it lets you know that this is done by bringing fulfilling back into your arms,
Your legs,
Your fingers and toes,
Normal awareness back into your mind,
Your body,
Your brain.
And then as it's complete,
You'll open your eyes.
