Hello,

This is Rebecca McLean.

Today's meditation is on perfection.

Go ahead,

Take a nice deep breath.

Feel your body relax.

Feel your mind relax.

Just feel yourself as you breathe,

Your body expands and releases.

Breathing into your head,

Breathing into your chest,

Breathing into your belly.

Just feel the air as it moves through your body,

As you feel your awareness going down inside your body.

And just notice what your body feels like as it's being supported by the chair or the surface that you're on.

And remembering that there's no way that you can do this wrong and there's no way that you can do it more right.

Whatever is showing up for you is exactly right.

And feeling your awareness down inside your body.

Allow your imagination and your body to show you where you hold the idea of perfection.

Just notice that part of your body calling your attention where you hold perfection.

And as you move closer,

Or even if you just hold the idea of perfection in your mind,

Just move closer to it.

Notice its size,

How much space it's taking up.

Notice if it has a specific shape or not.

And not judging or analyzing,

Just noticing being a witness to this space that's inside your body of perfection.

Notice if it has defined edges or not.

If it's solid or hollow.

Notice if there's any movement to it.

Just take in all the details.

And then as you take a breath,

On the exhale,

Move your awareness into that energy of perfection.

And as you move your awareness into it,

If there's a resource that you would like to have with you,

Something or someone that is safe,

Loving and powerful,

That provides protection,

Wisdom and guidance,

Just allow that resource to be there with you.

And if this is something that is to be done on your own,

Just whichever shows up,

There's no right way,

There's no wrong way.

So whatever's showing up for you is exactly right.

But just notice what it's like now that you're inside this energy of perfection.

What does it feel like emotionally inside perfection?

And now as you're inside this space,

Allow your imagination to bring forth an image of your perfect self.

One that has performed perfectly.

One that has kept every promise,

Achieved every goal,

And has been perfect.

And when that image pops up,

Just notice what it's like to look at this image of your perfect self.

And then speaking to that image of your perfect self.

What it's like to look at your perfect self is.

.

.

And what I feel emotionally when I'm looking at you is.

.

.

And the ways in which I'm like you are.

.

.

And the ways that I'm unlike you are.

.

.

And how it feels to say this to you is.

.

.

And what I'm now realizing is.

.

.

And what I think it would feel like to be you would be.

.

.

And anything else that wants to be spoken to perfect self,

Go ahead and speak it now.

And how it feels to say all this to you perfect self is.

.

.

And now moving your awareness into perfect self.

Looking through perfect eyes,

Listening through perfect ears,

Feeling the perfect body.

As you sense those perfect emotions and looking back at yourself and sensing all that self has spoken as a stream of colored energy that's moving from self to perfect self.

Notice the color and the quality of that energy and where that energy is entering perfect self.

And then feeling that energy coming into perfect self,

Filling up your perfect body,

Feeling that energy expand and express and then speaking back to self.

Self,

What I've heard you say,

What I've received from you is.

.

.

And how it feels to receive that from you is.

.

.

And self,

What I want to tell you about me,

Perfect self is.

.

.

And what I know about you self is.

.

.

And what I know that you may not know is.

.

.

And what I know that you may not know is.

.

.

Because the truth about being perfect is perfect.

And what you may not realize that I sacrificed to become perfect is.

.

.

And what I know about you is.

.

.

And what I want for you self is.

.

.

And what I know about you is.

.

.

And what I want to tell you about striving for perfection is.

.

.

And what I know about you is.

.

.

And what I want to tell you about rejecting perfection is.

.

.

And what I can tell you about balance is.

.

.

And how you'll know if you're balanced is.

.

.

And anything else that perfection wants to say to self,

Just a little bit.

And how it feels to be perfect is.

.

.

And how it feels to say this to you self is.

.

.

And how it feels to be perfect is.

.

.

And looking back at this image of perfect self,

Notice what perfect self looks like now.

Does it look the same or different?

How does it feel to look at perfect self?

And as you're looking at perfect self,

A stream of colored energy of all that's been spoken and expressed is moving from perfect self to you.

Just notice the color and the quality and how and where it's entering your body.

Just allow that energy to move into your body,

Feeling it coming in,

Receiving it fully.

And when it's complete,

Speaking back to perfect self.

Perfect self,

What I've heard you say,

What I've received from you is.

.

And how it feels for me to hear you say that is.

.

.

Because what I now know that I didn't know before is.

.

.

And how it feels to know that is.

.

.

Because what I now know about striving to become you,

Perfection is.

.

.

And what I now know about rejecting perfection is.

.

.

And what I now realize about me is.

.

.

And anything else that wants to be spoken to perfect self,

Just allow it to be spoken now.

And how it feels to say this is.

.

.

And then allowing that interaction with perfect self to end in any way that feels good.

And now sensing all your own energy in your own body,

All that energy that's moving through with all these new awarenesses.

Feeling the balance within you with all this new knowledge,

All this new wisdom.

And then your body will let you know that all this beautiful work that you've done is anchored all the way down into cellular memory,

Even down into your DNA.

And written in your subconscious mind flashing millions of times every split second without you even thinking about it.

It's also saved in your conscious awareness,

Able to be retrieved at will.

And it lets you know that this is done by bringing full feeling back into your arms,

Your legs,

Your fingers and toes.

Normal awareness back into your mind,

Your body,

Your brain.

And then as it's complete,

You'll open your eyes.

Pretty hard actually. I struggled a bit with collecting my thoughts and saying what I wanted to say to myself before the next question, but I know that you need to fit into a particular time or people probably won't do it. 🤷‍♀️

My God. That was one of the most powerful things I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. And I’m so very grateful I found it. And I say that as a therapist. Definitely will be revisiting this technique again. Bless God for you.
