Today's meditation is about control,
What it's like to have control,
What it's like to release control,
What it's like to allow flow and determine where that balance is.
So go ahead,
Take a nice deep breath.
Close your eyes,
Feel your body relaxing,
Your mind relaxing.
Just feel the chair or bed or whatever you're resting on underneath your body supporting you.
Feel your breath as it goes in and fills your lungs and then how it releases.
Just be mindful of your breath and what it's like to be able to control your breath.
As you take another deep breath,
Feel your awareness go down inside your body,
Noticing what it's like to be in control of your body.
And then just sense where in your body that sense of control is.
From where do you control things?
From where do you notice that sense of control resting in your body?
Notice that sense of control and how much space it's taking up in your body.
Notice the energy of it.
Is it active or calm or something in between?
And just allow your imagination to give that sense of control shape and form.
Does it have defined edges or not?
Is it three-dimensional or not?
Notice its color.
Does it look like something you know?
And as you feel that sense of control in your body,
Just move your awareness wholly into it.
Take a breath and on the exhale,
Feel your awareness move into it.
Just feel what it's like to be inside that control feeling.
And now allow your imagination to show you an image of yourself in total control.
And as you look at that image of yourself,
Just notice what that image looks like.
Notice what your face looks like,
How you carry your body.
And then move your awareness into that self that is in full control.
Look through those eyes.
Listen through those ears.
Notice that body,
That self that is in full control.
And notice what it's like to be inside that body.
And speaking from that self,
That self that is in full control,
How it feels for me,
What it's like for me to be in total control is.

And what I need,
This self that is in total control,
What I need is.
.
.
And still speaking from this self that is in total control,
What would make me feel good would be.
.
.
And what it feels like when people or situations or things are not doing what I want and need is.
.
.
And still speaking from this total control self,
What it's like when situations are not what I anticipate is.
.
.
And what I'm realizing is.
.
.
And anything else that wants to be spoken from total control self,
Go ahead and speak it now.
And how it feels for me to be able to say all this is.

And now your imagination is going to bring up an image of you in flow.
Notice what that image looks like.
What does your face look like?
How do you carry your body?
And then taking a breath and moving your awareness into that image of you in flow.
And looking from that perspective of flow,
Being fully embodied in flow and speaking from that perspective.
How it feels for me is.

And still speaking from the flow self,
What I need is.
.
.
And what would make me,
Flow,
Feel good would be.
.
.
And still speaking from the perspective of flow,
What it's like when people or situations do not do what I need is.
.
.
And what it's like for me,
Me in flow when situations are not what I anticipate is.
.
.
Because how it feels to be in flow is.
.
.
And what I'm realizing now is.
.
.
And anything else that flow wants to say,
Go ahead and speak it now.
And how it feels to say all this is.

And now moving back into yourself,
Feeling your own body,
Words and emotions.
Looking through your own eyes,
Listening through your own ears,
And looking at both of these images,
Total control and flow.
And notice what it's like to look at both of them.
What do they look like now?
Are they the same or different?
And then speaking to control,
What I know about you,
Control,
Is.

And what I appreciate about you,
Control,
Is.
.
.
And control,
What is no longer serving me is.
.
.
But what continues to serve me,
Control,
Is.
.
.
And how I'd like to work with you,
Control,
Is.
.
.
Because what I know about working together with you is.
.
.
And anything else that wants to be spoken to control,
Go ahead and speak it now.
Now turning your awareness to look at flow and speaking from yourself to flow.
What I know about you,
Flow,
Is.
.
.
And what I appreciate about you,
Flow,
Is.
.
.
And what is no longer serving me is.
.
.
What flow,
What continues to serve me is.
.
.
And flow,
How I'd like to work with you is.
.
.
Because what I know about you and I working together is.
.
.
And anything else that wants to be spoken to flow,
Go ahead and speak it now.
And how it feels to say all this to you,
Flow,
Is.
.
.
And now speaking to them both,
Control and flow.
What it looks like for you two to work together and to work together with me is.
.
.
And what it feels like for me to have us all working together is.
.
.
And as you take a breath and allow that to happen,
Feel that cooperation between control and flow and feel the best balance between them.
Notice what that feels like to have that balance.
And then just speaking out loud,
What it feels like to make these awarenesses about control and flow is.

And now that I'm getting what I need,
How this will impact my life is.
.
.
Because what I now know about flow and control and us all working together is.
.
.
And anything else that wants to be spoken aloud,
Just go ahead and speak it now.
And then sensing in your body where that balance of control and flow is and what it looks like.
And then moving your awareness into that balance,
That balance and feeling.
And notice what it's like to be inside there.
Knowing that you can always adjust between the two in any given moment.
Knowing what feels balanced and then your body will let you know that all this beautiful work that you've done is anchored all the way down into cellular memory,
Even down into your DNA.
And it's written in your subconscious mind flashing millions of times every split second without you even thinking about it.
And it's also saved in your conscious awareness,
Able to be retrieved at will.
It lets you know that this is done by bringing full feeling back into your arms,
Your legs,
Your fingers,
Toes,
Normal awareness back into your mind,
Your body,
Your brain.
And as it's complete,
You'll open your eyes.
