My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this meditation to nourish your body with mindfulness and sleep deeply.
Biologically,
Sleep is nourishment for the body.
It is a way to recharge our batteries.
When we sleep,
Our mind adjusts and repairs itself to maintain homeostasis in our body.
For many,
Sleeping can be a big problem.
Maintaining a daily routine in which deep sleep is a habit can be hard.
As most people do not sleep soundly.
They wake up in the middle of the night,
Moving,
Tossing from one side to another without being able to find a comfortable position.
Our minds are flooded with endless thoughts that don't allow us to sleep from problems,
Worries,
Things that may be affecting us in our lives.
In short,
There are plenty of reasons why it is sometimes difficult to get a deep sleep.
That is why practicing this mindfulness exercise can help us create this habit of deep sleeping.
By scanning our bodies with awareness and releasing those thoughts that we no longer need to carry.
With this meditation,
You can be friends with your sleep and this way nourish your body with a healing and restorative relaxation.
By associating relaxation as nourishment for the body,
Your mind will understand the value of nourishing your body and mind.

I invite you to lie down in a quiet place where no one is going to interrupt you for the next several minutes.
And where you can relax deeply to practice this exercise to nourish your body and mindfulness for deep sleep.
Let's begin.
With your body laying down,
Your back straight,
Stretch your legs.
You can put your hands on your sides or on your belly.
Make yourself comfortable and with a feeling of softness and relaxation.
And close your eyes.
Loosen your belly and loosen the muscles of your face.
Loosen the muscles of your jaw.
And take a few deep breaths with an emphasis on the exhale.
And continue to breathe normally.
And gently,
Little by little,
Bring your attention to the bottom of your feet.
And imagine a warmth that will begin to spread through the bottom of your feet.
And gently,
The warmth will invade your two feet.
A sensation of floating.
Your feet become lighter and you can feel a sensation of spaciousness.
As if your feet are expanding.
Slowly and effortlessly.
Feeling calm,
Peace,
Tranquility and relaxation.
You can feel a spaciousness and a softness on your feet that will go up through your ankles,
Up to your knees.
Covering your whole legs.
Your legs can feel lighter.
And that warmth is spreading through your legs.
It's a feeling of love and peace.
Calm.
Tranquility.
And relief.
And you can continue to feel the spaciousness as if your body is expanding.
Your legs feel softer and that warmth is rising up to your hips.
And you can feel this warmth as it increases more and more.
And you can feel the spaciousness all around you.
It is a pleasant spaciousness.
And you enjoy this moment.
Effortlessly.
Increasing the calm.
Inner peace.
Feeling your body of love and softness.
Nourishing your body.
Feeling fully aware of this moment and the spaciousness around you.
The warmth goes up your back.
And you can feel it in your organs.
In your chest.
And your body feels more comfortable.
And this feeling of spaciousness increases around you.
You can even feel a lot of space inside your lungs.
Allowing your lungs to breathe effortlessly.
And the softness that increases with each second.
Feeling how your organs are being nourished.
With this mindfulness meditation.
By focusing all of your awareness.
In this moment of peace.
Love and inner calm.
Negative thoughts are disappearing.
Your worries are disappearing.
And in their place appears this warmth,
Softness,
And joy.
That increases with each second.
The warmth expands to your arms.
And your arms feel lighter.
And there's a very nice sensation of softness in your arms.
And in your hands.
The fingers of your hands can also feel the spaciousness.
And the freedom.
That feeling of softness and relaxation is increasing more and more.
The warmth is expanding more and more.
And the relaxation becomes deeper and deeper.
And there's a pleasant feeling all over your body.
There's less need to move or pay attention.
And the warmth continues to rise through your shoulders.
Passing onto your neck.
And your neck can feel the warmth.
As it goes up to your head.
It is now all over your body.
Feeling how your body is nourished by this deep rest.
And when you stay like this,
Enjoy these nutritious moments for your body.
Allowing your body to heal whatever it has to heal.
With love and relaxation.
Breathing effortlessly.
And feeling the spaciousness throughout your body.
And that warmth,
You become to enjoy more and more.
And that joy,
You become to enjoy more and more.
