Hi,
My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this meditation to do nothing and sleep.
I'm going to ask you to go to a place where no one will interrupt you and find a comfortable position.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and release the air.
That's it.
Take another deep breath in and again release the air.
And now just notice how you're doing.
How's your body?
How do you feel right now?
What sensations are there in your body?
Notice if there is any physical or emotional tension or any concerns at this time.
So now you're going to let go of all that.
I'm going to ask you to relax your body and do absolutely nothing.
So now this is the time to rest and get rid of any tensions and worries.
So we are going to prepare your body and your mind to sleep and rest.
Starting with your eyes,
Release your eyes.
So release your face muscles.
So release your jaw.
So so release your head.
So release your neck.
So release your shoulders.
So release your arms.
So release your hands.
So release your chest.
So release your back.
So release your belly.
So release your hips.
So release your legs.
So release your feet.
So allow your whole body from head to toes to relax and do absolutely nothing.
So so so and relax your mind.
Release any thoughts in your mind.
We're going to empty your mind completely.
And if you want,
You can even think or mentally repeat don't think several times in your mind.
Don't think.
So so that's it and continue to breathe gently without effort and doing absolutely nothing.
So so notice if there's still any thoughts or feelings in your body and release them letting them go.
So so so whenever we practice any activity,
It is good from time to time to let go of everything and do nothing.
For example,
If we exercise constantly,
It is necessary from time to time to allow our muscles to relax and do nothing.
When we stop doing,
Our muscles have the opportunity to heal muscle tissues and recover so that when we return to exercise,
We can do it even better and with greater strength.
So this is because our muscles are strengthened with rest.
The same way works in our mind.
When we stop thinking and worrying about things,
Our mind rests.
We can heal our emotional wounds and regain our confidence.
And when we return to our daily activities,
We can do it with greater motivation and energy.
So so also when we're learning a new skill,
Such as learning to play an instrument,
After training for several hours,
It is good practice to let our brain rest and stop doing that activity.
So that our brain makes the necessary connections and in this way,
When we return to that activity,
We do it even better.
So so so for now,
Continue doing nothing and relaxing more and more.
So so so so so I remember years ago when my grandmother was constipated for almost 10 days.
And one of my uncles was able to get one of the best doctors in the country to help her.
My whole family was afraid that my grandmother would need surgery.
And because of her age,
She was over 80 years old.
She was in danger of not making it out alive.
Surprisingly,
The doctor recommended that they do nothing and instead to help her relax because the tension of wanting or forcing her body to go to the bathroom was causing more problems for her than anything else.
And so they did.
They helped her relax.
And after a day of relaxation,
My grandmother was able to heal and go to the bathroom without doing anything.
Doing anything.
So so now so now I'm going to allow your body to heal whatever needs to heal by doing nothing.
So continue letting go completely.
So we're going to give each part of your body a chance to rest from doing and completely let them go.
What's important now is to not make any effort.
So so on another occasion,
I remember that I had many stomach issues.
Unlike my grandmother,
I went to the bathroom a lot and I had not been able to keep any food in my belly for more than two weeks.
So my doctor sent me to a specialist who immediately said that my problem was that I was not allowing my body to heal and that every time I ate,
I was irritating my stomach.
So he recommended that I do nothing.
Meaning that I had to fast for two days and drink plenty of water to keep my body hydrated.
And so I did.
And just like he said,
My body healed quickly.
And on the third day,
I felt like a brand new person.
And fasting is also doing nothing.
It is allowing the body to heal naturally and do what it does best.
We simply give it the opportunity to do nothing.
So so and so continue doing nothing.
Allowing your body to rest deeply.
So so so so so We're going to let your body relax as much as possible.
And allow your mind to rest at a very deep level.
So so so so so For now,
Just stay there for as long as you need.
So feeling your breath entering your body and leaving your body.
So so so so breath entering and leaving your body.
Without thinking,
Allowing your subconsciousness to do what it needs to produce the results it deems necessary.
So so continue breathing.
So doing absolutely nothing.
