We're very lucky we have such a wonderful community growing all over the world.

And every time we go out on the road and these Dharma centers open,

It's just magnified that this kind of thing is happening.

And as we know,

It's rough out there.

There's a poem that I love by this amazing poet.

And I'm paraphrasing,

But she says,

Basically it's a long distance between kindness.

So you have to travel a long way between places where you can find human connectivity and kindness.

And so wherever we go in the world,

It's really important to be able to have little watering holes.

We call them bars in America,

Watering holes.

But this is the true,

This is the Aquarian Age watering hole.

You get filled up and you get that thirst for the connectivity.

I was asking a pre-millennial,

I think she's like 15.

I was like,

What do you like about Snapchat?

This was in class,

I was talking about technology and social media and this whole thing.

And I said,

What do you like about Snapchat?

And she was like,

Well,

I just like that you can be with people without really being with them.

And I thought,

That's about it,

Right there.

And I was reading from a lecture.

Well,

It's actually almost like a scientific paper that Yogi Bhajan wrote.

I actually don't know if he gave it as a lecture.

I think it was a paper that they wrote to get published.

Him and Guru Chodhan Singh,

He was the MIT guy who did all the level one,

Two,

And three training books,

Really smart minds,

Scientific minds.

They wrote this paper together called the Quantum Technology of the Shabad Guru.

Have you read it?

Really good.

And he was saying,

Every time you come to these teachings,

You always,

What I love about them is they're a bit of a sorcerer's stone or they're living.

So each time you,

So I've read that paper many,

Many times,

But I was lecturing off of it when we were doing teacher training in Boulder.

And he was saying something that I had never really heard this way.

And this is why I find this very interesting because if you,

Like a meditation,

This is why we're into kind of taking one meditation and just doing it forever.

We don't just like you pick a meditation and you just kind of like spend some time with it.

Because you'll find every time you come to it,

There's new revelations that open up and you're in the same posture,

You're in the same mudra,

You're saying the same mantra,

Blah,

Blah,

Blah,

Blah.

But there's a whole,

Whole new spaces in you that open up or new.

And the same thing with the kind of written or the spoken word of the teachings.

So I've read this many,

Many times and I came back to it this time.

And what he said in there,

He talked about basically social media and the pressure that the kind of these new social constructs would put on our psyche.

And he wrote it in 1995.

And I don't think Friendster came out until like 2001.

Do you guys remember Friendster?

Don't say yes.

See,

We're dating ourselves.

And I remember,

Like I really remember clearly how like when social media kind of hit the household home,

What does anyone remember how that felt?

Like it was exciting,

But it was also almost,

I remember feeling slightly innervated about it because it was like all of a sudden,

There was this whole nother kind of social construct that was pervading my household.

My husband at the time,

Couple since then,

But he was very into the social media.

He was very into technology,

He was into the computer.

So he got into it really quickly.

And I remember feeling like really like,

Like all of a sudden this is a whole new thing we're contending with.

And some of us,

You don't have this experience because you're millennials.

But just to give the kind of how quickly in,

My first cell phone was in 2001,

But people had a lot of cell phones before that.

So we're talking about less than 20 years,

The immense amount of pressure of technology and the ways socially that we are expected to interact with each other.

And in the quantum technology of the Shabbat Guru,

He says basically the pressure of your social life is going to become like this,

This whole new level of psychic pressure on you.

And let's just,

Let's take this,

Let's break this down.

Somebody texts you,

If you don't text them back,

It depends on how neurotic that person is and how neurotic you are.

But if you don't text them back within an hour,

Usually hour,

Two hours,

There's going to be like levels of offense that they're going to begin to take.

True or not true?

So right there.

Yeah.

Even worse is that thing that it's,

It's you got to turn that.

Yeah,

You got to turn that off.

But yeah,

I was saying that in Boulder,

Say you haven't turned that off and they see that you've read it and you haven't responded.

That's like a whole nother level.

And you know,

And we take it for granted now because we're in it and we've been in it for a while.

But you had you,

You know,

You just kind of go into the level of pressure that creates on the psyche.

So Yogi Bhajan said the medicine,

And I had talked about this this week that some of these mantras,

In fact,

All of them,

But they're different medicine.

Some of them have a higher quality of this kind of medicinal purpose than others.

But the medicine to the ailments of what he called IDS,

Not to be confused with IBS,

Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

It's similar.

It's called Infodementia Syndrome.

Infodementia Syndrome.

So he called it IDS.

And the symptoms of IDS are the emptiness and the,

And the feeling of disconnectivity and he used the term mental bankruptcy that we feel like I saw a social media meme last night that said,

I have too many windows open or so like too many tabs open in my mind.

I thought that's a good way of explaining Infodementia Syndrome because we're just,

You know,

And as I've been saying to everyone,

We all have a unique way of kind of fritzing out our nervous system and our kind of,

We all have our own little way that we particularly fritz out.

I mean,

You have to know that about yourself.

This is what I've been telling everybody all week.

Because if you know that about yourself,

When this pressure is on you and what's,

If you know your particular unique way of kind of freaking out,

Then you can,

You can do something about it.

But if you don't even know one that you freak out or two that you're,

You know,

That if you're not even aware of the,

How the pressure hits you and what it does to you,

Then you know,

Then we don't have much to work with.

So it's really good to kind of get clear on what's your particular way that you,

When the pressure hits you,

What's your particular way that you get kind of weird.

We're just getting some Spanish.

Yeah,

Good.

Okay.

And that's a Yogi Bhajan call it,

You know,

I always use this term because I think it's hilarious,

Sophisticated misery.

Because we all have like a particular way that we very sophisticatedly.

But it's really an important thing.

And this is what I think when we get into spiritual life and spiritual,

Everybody thinks that it's like bliss and light and love and that kind of thing.

But actually,

One of the greatest spiritual treasures you can give yourself is to just know your particular kind of pattern of how the kind of neurotic tendencies hit you or when they hit you.

Because I've been teasing,

There's all this,

You know,

These wellness bloggers on social media and stuff.

And I always tease them because a lot of them come to my class in Los Angeles.

I don't know why they keep coming.

But but so I always tease them because I'm like,

You know,

Being a wellness,

Whatever,

You know,

Aficionado or or coach or whatever is not just,

You know,

Prescribing your favorite kind of facial products.

Like if we really want to give wellness to people,

Giving them an opportunity to figure out what you know,

Where the pattern of their kind of weakness,

Their tendency towards ways that they sabotage themselves or where their nervous system is weak.

That's a huge gift because then you can start to strengthen it.

You can do something with that.

And that fundamental thing is the thing that has caused you in every single way to ruin relationships,

You know,

Not finish projects,

Not deliver whatever creative kind of stuff you've been working on,

Your stuff around your money,

Prosperity.

I mean,

You know,

The list goes on and on and on.

So it's a big it's a big thing.

So Yogi Bhajan said that the Shabad Guru is an encoded permutation combination.

So Shabad Guru is a fancy way of saying the mantra.

It's an encoded permutation combination that basically programs.

It's like a it's like a HTML or or a,

You know,

Julian's not here to make fun of me where,

You know,

We're building the new Rama TV site,

Which,

By the way,

Is going to be amazing.

I'm really excited.

It's taken us a lot longer than we expected.

But but,

You know,

So whatever those languages are,

Somebody came.

She's not here.

Ashton came up to me from Texas and she's like,

Yes,

You know,

This guy in Texas,

I don't know him.

He's he's a Kundalini,

A Kundalini of sorts.

Told her good Juggies like really smart.

She's a hacker.

I was like,

I was like,

I love that that's like going around on the street because I can't have used my iTunes.

Like good that that's like the rumor that's going around.

But the Shabad Guru is basically a code,

A hack code.

It's a shortcut in the biggest way.

It's a shortcut to give your system a program that when the stress is on the ideas,

The info dementia syndrome,

When the stress hits the system,

You will instead of going to the well trodden code of your self defeat,

Self,

You know,

Doubt,

You know,

Whatever the sophisticated misery is.

And it's very well in grooved.

It's it's it's a it's a deep groove.

So that's why we have to practice.

We try to do something every day because we're kind of we're we're we're already dealing with a very deep groove.

So it's easy to head that way.

So the Japa,

The repetition of whatever we're practicing,

You know,

The mantra,

The the,

You know,

Whatever we're doing,

That repetition gives us an opportunity,

At least an opportunity that when the pressure hits,

You have another code bank to rely on.

And so it's very scientific.

You have it.

You can pull some other code code languages basically to,

You know,

And this all happens in a very,

Very,

You know,

Give us and call that a New York second very fast because every wink of an eye,

We have a thousand thoughts.

So this is all this mechanism is happening very fast.

So that's why the Japa,

The practice,

The repetition will give us a deeper and deeper groove that gets that the system is going to like we talked about that Trinity sound.

You're going to start to naturally go towards the right direction if you train yourself.

And that's all we're doing.

You know,

Every day we practice,

We're just training ourselves towards the right action,

Right direction,

Because guilt,

Guilt,

Particularly,

I mean,

It is Easter and stuff.

So that's the guilt.

Guilt is just a recognition that you're not in right action.

There's something out of right action,

Right?

So you're you're you know,

That that kind of experience of the guilt and a lot of energy is wasted on the guilt,

Shame kind of situation.

So we're just putting Shabbat Guru gives us these repetitions of the codes of the tongue and the lips.

So that's the Morse code,

You know,

In the old movies,

You see them when they do the telegrams,

You know,

That that's basically what you're doing with your tongue and your lips.

Do you get that?

Right.

You're you're giving the Morse code to your brain,

To your endocrine system.

And if we look at image of the brain,

There's we were working with this in Boulder.

There's a cavity.

So,

You know,

The back of the tongue,

Let's say the back of the tongue is here and then there's an hollow cavity right behind the back of the tongue.

And it goes all the way,

You know,

Through the.

Well,

He called it a conch,

But a basically an empty space above the soft palate.

So do you get that image?

I'm very visual.

I didn't give it to you very well.

Yes or no.

So at the back of the tongue,

Where the tongue meets the spine,

Basically,

There's there's a hollow kind of conch where you can resonate sound.

And that hollow space is the where the pituitary glands,

Basically,

In the front of it is where the pituitary gland is.

So,

You know,

Just give you a little science.

It's like you don't need to know the mantra,

What it means.

It has no religious there.

There are religious.

I don't even know if I would call it religious,

But their spiritual context through the kind of Sikhism spirituality.

Sikhism is is much more of a spiritual.

You know,

It just depends on how you want to relate to it.

It's like,

You know,

I'm a Jew,

But I don't relate to Judaism in a religious way.

I relate to it in a spiritual way.

So there are there are religious Sikhs and there are spiritually inclined.

You know,

Really,

They're just like everything.

Same thing with Christianity.

But so there's no necessary there's no necessary religious context.

There's no even spiritual context.

It's just a mechanism of this.

And this conch,

That's why we worked with it a lot this week in Boulder.

This conch,

When you go on,

That's basically all you're doing is you're filling the conch with the.

Sound and the permutation,

The permutation combination of this sound that is the active.

Relationship to all there is,

Which means in that moment you find God.

Whatever that is,

But that's like your own personal experience.

And so so we're going to work a little bit today.

We're going to work with op sahai hoa such a does such a door.

Had had had we know this mantra,

We're just going to do this nice little experience with it and then we're going to also work with a mantra that we're doing.

We've worked a lot with this year,

Which is the four HUDs and then the go bindae and four heads,

Mokundi,

Four heads,

Udade.

And this one is really it's very,

Very inclined towards your prosperity.

So work a little bit with that.

And then the third one we're going to work with is that our dust.

By.

And that mantra is.

Really interesting,

Because in the permutation combination of that sound,

It's a prayer or an intention or a projection of something that you're putting into maybe a prayer you don't even know you have,

Which is nice.

You know,

You don't even have to worry about it.

You're putting it out into the vibrational kind of space and inside the intention,

The prayer,

The ask,

The yogi,

Bajan says there is no lack of supply.

There's lack of demand.

So,

You know,

It's not polite.

It doesn't need to be polite.

It can be a demand.

We like to,

You know,

We're very polite,

Like our religious upbringings make us very polite.

But there's actually you can make an absolute demands with these mantras.

So in the demand is the supply.

In the prayer is the answer.

That's the so the in the vibrational kind of code of it is the it's like nature.

If there is an illness in the woods,

If there's an illness that's that is common to that area on on,

You know,

Whatever planet you're on in the nature,

There is the medicine right in the nature.

Right.

That's exactly.

So that's the symbiosis.

So the the ask or the demand,

The supply is it can't the demand can't exist without the supply.

They don't exist without each other.

Do you get that?

So that's our dust.

I think that's you know,

I mean,

That feels handy to me.

That's practical.

So we and because of the religious upbringings,

The whole programming is basically you ask,

You beg,

You plead.

And,

You know,

You were born a sinner and you're going to die a sinner.

So let's we'll see if you,

You know,

You're good enough to receive.

Right.

I mean,

That's the programming.

And that's heavy on us,

Whether you are brought up religiously or not.

So let's we're going to deprogram some of that so that we get in this in the actual kind of vibrational code.

The answer is with the question and real key touch that real key,

The German poet,

He has that poem that people like to throw around everywhere,

Which is like,

You know,

Don't begrudge the questions themselves because the answers are,

You know,

It did be he's a hard one to translate.

So you've got to be careful who translates his poems.

But because German is very eloquent in certain ways and there are ways that you can't describe certain things that.

But he has that poem that's basically describing what I'm talking about,

Which is the question is the answer.

The answer is the question kind of thing.

Good.

In him.
