This is a Yoga Nidra track that includes a heart resonance breath practice to help you to connect with the electromagnetic field of your heart. This practice will reduce stress, improve your sleep, connect you with inner joy and resilience. It includes theta binaural music to induce theta brainwaves which help to bring you into your creative mind and finish feeling refreshed.

Welcome to your yoga nidra practice.

While you're getting set up,

I'd like you to think about a resolve that you can use in yoga nidra.

Something that you know would serve you well in a deeply profound way.

Something that's beyond your ego's desires and instead something that satisfies a deeper longing in your heart.

It's okay if it isn't a hundred percent clear right now.

You can just use this time to start percolating a few ideas.

Now get ready and lay down on your back in shavasana.

It's a good idea to cover your body with a blanket and you can also use an eye cover to cover your eyes.

Even a scarf will do.

If you use a weighted eye cover you might fall asleep a little too easily.

So stick with something light.

To experience the depth of yoga nidra,

It is best if you remain awake throughout the practice.

If you fall asleep,

Don't worry.

But the more you practice,

The more you'll be able to stay awake.

During yoga nidra,

You're functioning on the levels of hearing and awareness.

There's no need to over-concentrate or intellectualize the instructions.

Just allow relaxation to take over your body and simply move your consciousness as guided by the instructions.

Take some space between your arms and body.

Palms are facing up,

Nothing touching your fingertips.

Your legs are wider than your hips.

Feet can just relax out to the sides.

Notice the support of your mat and the floor or whatever you're lying on.

Notice what is underneath you and relax into it.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Have the intention to just let go.

Do your best to remain still as much as possible throughout the practice.

And now begin to feel your breath.

Notice your breath.

Notice your body breathing.

Begin to deepen your breath very deeply all the way into your abdomen.

And on exhale,

Notice your body softening and settling.

Your mind and body softening and settling with each exhale.

And have the intention to let go of all worldly concern and feel yourself becoming lighter and increasingly relaxed.

Continue deepening your breath with the intention to make space inside.

And now allow your breath to return to a natural rhythm,

Moving effortlessly and smoothly,

Eventually becoming quiet.

The quieter your breath becomes,

The more your mind will experience that quiet.

In a few moments,

I will prompt you to repeat your Sankalpa.

Sa means purest and most refined,

The most elevated.

It's an idea that emanates from the heart.

And kalpa means a rule or a law.

It's a rule that is followed above all other rules.

So this is an idea that rises from the heart.

And it's a rule that you will follow above all others.

Remember,

The purpose of the Sankalpa is to create strength in the structure of the mind.

The purpose is to influence and transform your whole life pattern.

Physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally and spiritually,

Your Sankalpa can change your personality so that you're more balanced,

Happy and fulfilled.

Begin by evoking a feeling of gratitude.

This is the soil for the seed of your Sankalpa to grow.

Feel grateful for your life and everything in it.

Feel grateful for even the hardships and the challenges of the past that have brought you to the place you are now.

See the beauty and the greatness of where you are now and how far you've come.

And with this feeling present in your mind and body,

Mentally repeat your Sankalpa three times.

And while you repeat it,

Feel the joy of having received this gift and embody this gift in the here and now.

Begin to feel your breath moving inside your body.

Notice your body is lying on the floor.

See and feel your entire body in a state of complete stillness and ease.

We will begin to rotate consciousness throughout the body.

It's as though we're taking a trip throughout the body.

You could mentally repeat the part if you like,

As I say it,

But most importantly,

Sense it with your awareness.

Go to the center of your brain.

See,

Feel,

And experience a point of light,

Luminous and full presence at the center of your brain.

Go to the throat,

A point of light,

Right shoulder,

Point of light,

Right elbow,

Wrist,

Tip of the right thumb,

Point of light,

Tip of the index finger,

Middle finger,

Relax,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Wrist,

Point of light,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Throat,

Point of light,

Whole body effortless,

Whole body still,

Left shoulder joint,

Left elbow,

Wrist,

Point of light,

Relax,

Tip of the left thumb,

Index finger,

Tip of the middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Left wrist,

Completely relaxed,

Left elbow,

Left shoulder,

Center of the throat,

Point of light,

Open and receptive,

Heart center,

Right side of the chest,

Center of the heart,

Point of light,

Presence and awareness in the heart,

Left side of the chest,

Point of light,

Heart center,

Navel center,

See or feel a point of light,

Reproductive center,

Top of the sacrum,

Point of light,

Right hip joint,

Right knee,

Right ankle,

Top of the right big toe,

Second toe,

Third,

Fourth,

Fifth toe,

Point of light,

Right ankle joint,

Right knee,

Right hip,

Point of light,

Top of the sacrum,

Relax,

Left hip joint,

Left knee,

Left ankle,

Tip of the big toe,

Second,

Point of light,

Top of the sacrum,

Navel center,

Point of light,

Heart center,

Throat center,

Middle of the brain or third eye,

Point of light,

Relax the whole body,

Star light,

Point of light in the midbrain or third eye,

See all of the points at once like twinkling stars in the night sky,

All are vibrant,

Awake,

Luminous,

The body has become a constellation of points of light,

Sense the space between those points,

Pure undiluted spaciousness,

You are space and points of light,

You are spacious awareness,

Conscious of the breath that moves through that space,

The body sleeps,

The mind is quiet,

Resolve to stay awake,

Consciousness remains aware,

Conscious of the breath that moves through that space,

Effortless,

Repeat to yourself now,

My mind is awake,

Quiet and awake,

Now begin to bring your attention to your breath at the heart center,

As you inhale,

Feel air enter your heart,

And as you exhale,

Feel air flow through your heart,

Concentrate on the air flowing through your heart,

In and out,

This is called heart resonance breathing,

Continue,

Bring your attention to the space embodied at your heart center,

Tuning into your heart's resonance,

Your heart has its own electromagnetic field,

It's the most powerful electromagnetic field in the human body,

It's 60 times greater in amplitude than the activity generated by the brain,

Concentrate on your heart's resonance,

Meditate on your heart,

Feel and sense the qualities of the heart and how that shows up in your life,

How being heart centered shows up in your life,

How does it feel,

How does it look,

How does it feel,

When your heart centered,

Now begin to feel your body becoming very,

Very heavy,

Feel your body growing heavy and relaxed,

Whole body very heavy,

Sinking all the way down,

Deeper,

Heavy and immobile,

So heavy,

Just sinking all the way down,

Now begin to feel your body find a sensation of lightness,

Lightness and weightlessness taking over your whole body,

Lighter and lighter,

Rising up into the sky,

Floating through the clouds,

Your head,

Your arms,

Your torso,

Your legs,

All the way up,

Floating,

Rising up into the sky,

Floating through the clouds,

And now begin to call upon a feeling of intense fear,

Come back to your mat and call upon a time and a feeling when you were very,

Very afraid of something,

Feel fear enter you,

Notice how your body responds to fear,

Notice the tension,

The tension that you're experiencing in this moment now,

Everywhere,

All over fear,

Now let go of that fear and begin to experience a feeling of radiance,

When you're full of radiance and confidence and beauty,

Feel radiance emanating into your aura,

From inside you feel radiant and exuding that radiance outward,

So that anyone from a distance can experience your radiance,

Radiance opposes all fear,

Radiance exudes a true deep sense of inner confidence and trust,

And now begin to go on a journey,

A journey through a transcendent forest,

An enchanted forest,

Where a great transformation takes place,

Walking through the forest,

Notice the foliage and the lush greenery all around you,

Nourishing your senses with oxygen and sunlight,

Water droplets,

Notice the ions floating in the air,

There's a strong electromagnetic charge neutralizing any toxins from you,

Purging and cleansing you,

Physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally,

Energetically and spiritually cleansing you,

Aligning you with your deepest life purpose,

You can become,

You are,

Align your soul with the intelligence in the universe,

Feeling very connected,

You are infinite awareness embodied,

Tune in to your own infinite awareness,

And it's from that connection with your own infinite awareness that you can transform anything in your way,

Anything blocking you,

Anything holding you back,

You can transform that with your connection to your own infinite awareness,

Begin again to evoke a feeling of gratitude,

Feel grateful for this experience of rejuvenating rest and a connection to your infinite consciousness,

And with this feeling present in your mind and body,

Mentally repeat your Sen Kelpa three times,

And while you repeat it,

Feel the joy of having received this gift and embody this gift in the here and now.

Awaken your breath and your senses to your surroundings,

See and feel the room that you're in,

Picture the walls and all of the things inside the room,

And begin to stir some small movements into your fingers and your toes,

Your yoga nidra practice is complete,

Just take your time,

When you're ready,

You can sit up and take as long as you like to transition into the rest of your day.
