In this breath meditation, we lean into the pause at the end of the exhalation to discover a deeper sense of peace and calm that envelopes the body and mind. When we lean into this pause we can cultivate a calmer mind, and a deeper connection with our self. Sitting or lying down somewhere comfortable and just begin to observe the fact that you're breathing just acknowledge and recognize the breath increasingly forming a closer relationship with our breath and therefore ourselves just observing your inhale and observing your exhale allowing your awareness to rest on both parts of the breath as they flow seamlessly through your being now begin to lengthen out your exhalation just ever so gently ever so effortlessly just start to lengthen your exhalation extend your breath maintaining a sense of ease and effortlessness just start to lengthen your exhalation maintaining a sense of ease and effortlessness and just notice as you lengthen out your exhalation how the inhale spontaneously appears the inhale just simply arrives and comes as you extend out the exhalation there's an effortlessness to the inhale rising back into your awareness just keep observing this this moment this transition as you stretch and lengthen and elongate out the exhalation the inhale recoils it appears there's no effort in the inhale there's no effort in the exhale now begin to extend out your exhale just a little bit more if you can and watch the inhale rise now just start to open up and create just a tiny little bit of space just a tiny pause between the exhale and the inhale it might just be for a brief moment just feel and sense into that pause between the end of your exhale and the beginning of your inhale and perhaps you can begin to even lengthen out the pause so perhaps it becomes a pause to the count of one or even two so in this pause exists the whole universe infinite space it's a sacred space of clarity where the mind can be empty and free allow yourself to lean back into that space where the exhale has finished and the inhale has not yet begun notice what's there feel into that sense of calm,

Of nothingness,

Of space,

Of tranquility that momentary pause that can mean so much just allow yourself a few more rounds of breath just like this feeling deeply into that pause,

Into that space and then gently releasing this pattern of breath and just allow yourself to sit and observe for a few moments observe the quiet and the space and when you're ready opening up your eyes and coming back into your day

That was pure bliss. The weightlessness of existing in that in between released so much pressure for me. Brought me back to myself just that much more. Truly needed.
