This gentle breath-focused practice invites you to reconnect with your body through the natural rhythm of your breath. You’ll be guided to observe subtle sensations, like the rise and fall of your chest or the coolness of each inhale, without forcing anything. When your mind drifts, you’ll practice returning with softness, letting your body lead the way. It’s a quiet space to rest, reset, and return to what’s real.

Begin by focusing on the rhythmic flow of your breath.

Observe its gentle ebb and flow,

Like the rhythmic lapping of waves against the shore.

Notice the coolness of air entering your nostrils and the warmth that follows as you exhale.

Pay attention to the sensations arising within your body.

Feel the subtle expansion and contraction of your diaphragm,

The gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Let go of any tension,

Allowing your breath to guide you into a state of relaxation.

As you remain here,

Your mind may wander,

Carried away by thoughts and memories.

When you notice your attention has drifted,

Don't force yourself back to the breath.

Instead,

Allow the sensations of your breath to draw you back,

Like a moth drawn to a flame,

Surrendering to the natural mindfulness of your body.

Let the rhythm of your breath be a guide,

Leading you into deeper and deeper states of awareness.

Pay attention to the way your body moves as you breathe,

Noticing the ebb and the flow,

The rhythm of your breath.

As you stay with your gentle awareness on the rhythm of your breath and the pulsation of your body,

Just feel your body getting softer and more relaxed,

The tension sliding away.

And when you're ready to leave this practice,

Just deepen your breath,

Deepening the inhale,

Deepening the exhale.

And then slowly opening up your eyes.

Thank you. A simple practice, but good things are often the little, uncomplicated ones. Namaste.
