You We practice like this,

Pushing the seed into the earth like this first in the morning,

Then at night we practice sliding the bones home.

Welcome yourself to this yoga nidra practice.

My name is Rachel and from my heart to yours,

I welcome you into this deeply restful space.

As with the softness of a smooth stone surface and the heaviness of its shape,

With love,

Lay yourself down or sit comfortably.

This yoga nidra is brought to life as a gentle remembering of the rawness of life and its presence to connect with us.

Remember yourself as you lay down,

Welcome all that you come with.

All is welcome,

All of you is welcome here.

Allow for space for your physical shelter for tuning in and turning down.

Allow your wishes of unapologetic rest to be answered by your own loving actions.

Welcome yourself,

The whole of you is invited to rest and be as is just for this moment.

We practice this time as a coming home,

Bringing the bones home to rest.

Feel the bones sliding into peace.

Every move within you now is a smoothing out,

A finding neutral.

How does comfort feel for you?

How can you become even more at ease in your space?

Today we start with a breath to carry us further into the place we call home.

It goes like this.

We will begin with two full inhales through the nose like this.

And then a gratifying audible sigh as you exhale out in one.

Once or twice more allow this breath to express what is left to release.

Moving you deeper into the presence of the body.

You are loved and open to receive.

As you settle expand your awareness to imagine your inner resource,

Your inner sanctuary.

Where you feel most at ease.

At peace and filled with joy.

Welcome this place,

Real or imaginary.

Into your whole experience.

Become a part of this space and feel it entering your being.

You have arrived.

All of you is welcome here,

Just as you are.

And remember this inner sanctuary is always here for you at any time.

If you are feeling called to perhaps now is the time to feel for your intention for this practice.

And like a pebble dropping into a river allow for your inner wisdom.

To submerge and gift you your intention.

Whatever it may be,

Feel it dropping into your heart.

Allowing it to fill your whole body with these words that you are becoming.

Notice the presence of strength and resiliency in your intention.

A clarity of need.

A direct line with your ecosystem.

Welcome an awareness of your ecosystem to spread throughout your whole body now.

Pathways opening like the veins of a river.

The buoyancy of cells in their neutral space.

A flourishing of breath as an inhale enters the body.

Exhale grounds you into earth's nurture.

There's an aliveness being awakened within.

Just as the body drops deeper into peaceful rest.

There's an aliveness being awakened within.

Begin to follow these pathways back to their epicenter.

The deep well of your heart.

Connect with the pathway from your heart center and feed it into your right shoulder.

A nourishment as the passage lengthens down the whole right arm.

Dividing off in your hand into the fingers and fingertips.

Replenishment of life coursing through your arm.

Find yourself back at the epicenter following the passages now into your left shoulder.

Deepen the pathway through the left arm feeding it into the hand,

Fingers and fingertips.

Both arms to receive as they soften into space.

From your heart once again imagine a thicker passageway as it begins to descend from its epicenter.

Just as a plant roots down into the earth.

Feel this pathway draw down the center line of your body.

Noticing tiny little sub roots growing outwards along the bones of the rib cage.

As you follow the central passage down through the belly.

Dividing as it wraps smaller roots around your pelvis and hip joints.

Feeding life and support throughout your body as it moves.

The invitation of earthing grows stronger as these offshoots begin their journey down through the legs.

Meandering through the thigh to shoes,

Knee joints,

Lower legs.

Spreading life giving essence into the ankles and feet.

A nourishment.

A presence of life.

Notice your legs feeling strong yet at ease.

Feel both legs in full presence.

Now feel from the back of your heart a flourishing of vessels growing out to and along the whole length of your spine.

Pathways weaving and wrapping around the intricate bones of the spine.

From south to north the spine is being nourished.

The upwards vessels curl around the space of the neck.

Growing a supportive pillow for your head to rest into.

Shoots begin to curve inwards through the bones of the face.

Life giving essence feeding your body mind.

The ecosystem within is becoming fully awake as your mind and body soften into rest.

Feel the whole body.

Whole body.

Presence.

Whole body.

All is welcome and open to receive this replenishment.

Invite awareness of the areas in your body that feel dull and lifeless.

Where is it difficult to sense into and connect within your body?

Stay with me as you allow these spaces to reveal themselves.

All is welcome.

Just as you are.

Now feel into the flourishing network of nourishing pathways.

Moving their way through your body.

Vital.

Life giving.

Regeneration.

There is a strength and resiliency to this receiving.

These pathways are drawn to the dullness.

Invite them to enter those places of numbness.

They wish for all of you to be present.

There is a calling for all of you to come home.

Allow the dullness within to be overcome with this presence of life.

Feel the numbness leaving the body.

These new spaces are now open to receive.

Feel your ecosystem becoming fully integrated with new life.

How does it feel to have an ecosystem within?

How does it feel to be of this life?

How would it feel to invite light into your darkness?

You are a guiding light.

Invite a wave of breath to move through you.

Assisting in the light being risen within.

You are a being of light.

In your fullest light,

Allow your imagination free will.

As you sense yourself sitting at the edge of a river.

Rushing blues,

Greens and greys.

As the water ripples over rocks and races ahead of itself.

You feel stable and grounded by the water's earthy edge.

And yet the powerful flow of the river draws you to lean in a little closer.

You feel the majestic pull to release.

An invitation to let go.

There is a sense of safety from where you sit.

The earth rising to meet you.

To hold you.

As the waters float by you.

Your physical body grounded by the colours and tones of earth and land.

Visualise these colours of nature come to life.

Your mind and emotions are washed with tones and shades of water.

Crystal clear water.

A cleansing of thoughts.

A washing away of what dulls your light.

Embrace this elemental awakening of earth and water.

You notice a feeling of warmth spreading across your shoulders and back.

A burst of heat from the fiery sun above you.

A thawing of tension as the body melts under the swelter.

The body surrendering to itself.

Just as you feel you're becoming too hot.

A mellow,

Refreshing breeze breaks the intensity.

Blowing away with it any residue of tension.

The elements are working with you.

They're here with you now.

Present and alive.

Tuned in with your inner ecosystem.

Welcome all four elements into your experience now.

Earth.

Water.

Fire.

Wind.

Can you sense their willingness to take care of you?

Their only request is for you to remain aware and present with them.

The four elders of the elements.

Coming to nurture you.

You are loved and open to receive.

Allow yourself to linger in this utopia of your ecosystem.

Being fully supported and nourished.

Become the practice.

Become the presence.

Become the remembering of who you are.

A warm and familiar voice whispers your intention throughout your body.

Welcome these words.

The words that you have become.

Sensations of loving kindness begin to fill your body.

You are remembered.

You are bringing the bones home.

Softly allow your awareness to wander back into the space around you.

Simply noticing your body where it lays.

As you find full presence in this space and body,

Allow a deeper breath to freshen you.

Feel the coolness of the breath stimulate your senses.

When you're ready,

Allow movements from the edges of your body.

Welcome your whole self.

The whole of you.

Give your time to roll to your favorite side.

Checking in with how you're feeling.

When you're ready,

Make your way to a seated position.

With the eyes closed or gently gazing down.

Let's end with a breath.

The same breath we started with.

Two inhales in through the nose.

Like this.

And one long audible sigh out through the mouth.

One more time.

We practice like this.

Pushing the seed into the earth.

Like this first in the morning.

And then at night,

We practice sliding the bones home.
