These are short observations about who God is and who we are in God. These observations are meant to weaken, hopefully, our conscious (and unconscious) habits that separate us from God and bring to awareness our characteristics that keep us in alignment with God. These observations are based on Bible scriptures and the understandings revealed to me from them.

Today's consideration.

We must lean on God heavily during times of trouble as we do when we want him to manifest in our lives.

When we pray we must acknowledge that he can bring us out of the desperate times.

God knows that difficulties upset us.

There is no sin inventing our emotions through tears and groaning.

However we are not to fall into hopelessness that prevents us from searching him out.

People and situations will upset us and just as in times of good we should expect God to deliver.

Though we may suffer a little while God hears our prayer.

Not only does he hear he receives which means he makes arrangements to do something about it and what God does is not in drips.

He relieves us suddenly.

To me this means there is a distinct and abrupt end to the suffering.

Not a gradual feeling better little by little but a noticeable sudden difference that says only God could have provided the relief.

Lord I thank you for the abrupt end to our suffering.

I thank you for hearing our prayers for sending the abundance in floods and not drips.

Thank you.
