Welcome,

My name is Jade Alexis.

I offer you this five-minute seated meditation,

An opportunity to clear your mind of any stress,

Anxiety,

Fear,

Or worry,

Moving you into a place of peace and calm.

By the end of this meditation,

You will think,

See,

And feel with a bit more clarity.

Start to find your comfortable seat.

Any comfy seated position is fine.

As you get comfortable,

Also know that scientifically,

Meditation will lower your heart rate and in many ways help your mind and body start to heal.

In your comfortable seat,

Let your palms rest,

Face up on your thighs.

Lengthen your spine,

Lift the crown of your head.

Move your shoulders down and away from your ears.

Close your eyes.

Bring your gaze to your third eye center,

The spot right between the center of your eyebrows.

Seal your lips.

Start to breathe in and out through your nose.

Start to deepen the connection with your breath at the entrance of your nostrils.

I will guide you through a breathing exercise to help deepen relaxation by focusing on the exhale breath,

Breathing at a ratio of one to two.

We shall begin at my pace,

And then you can try on your own.

Inhale through your nose for three,

Two,

One.

Exhale out your nose,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Inhale,

Three,

Two,

One.

Exhale,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Inhale.

Continue on your own at your own pace.

If an inhale of three and exhale of six was too strenuous,

Use two and four.

After your next exhale breath,

Allow your breath to resume normal.

Let go of the control you had over your breath.

Notice how you feel.

What changes have taken place?

Keep your eyes closed.

Bring your palms to touch in prayer at the center of your heart space.

Let your thumbs touch on your sternum,

The bone right in front of your heart.

Take one more deep breath in through your nose.

Exhale slowly out your mouth.

Bow your head to the prayer in front of your heart space.

The light in me honors the light inside of you.

Namaste.

Thank you for sharing your time and your breath with me.

It was an honor and a pleasure.

This was a piece of Jade,

P-E-A-C-E.

May peace be with you.

This meditation was incredibly calming and rejuvenating! The gemtle guidance helped me to focus on my breath, and let go of stress and tension in my body and mind. The soothing voice and calming atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. I felt a bit more centered and grounded after the meditation, with a sense of clarity that lingered after it was over.
