Through positive reinforcement and gentle self-touch, you’ll create feelings of safety, comfort, and self-love for both yourself and your inner child. This meditation helps you build confidence, release self-doubt, and foster a deeper sense of emotional security and self-worth.

Welcome,
Today we will continue on a journey of profound self-discovery that will recognize and challenge the negative beliefs that may have taken root in your childhood.
Through this meditation we will explore the healing power of positive affirmations and the gentle touch that offers a sense of safety,
Comfort and self-love.
Together with your inner child you will co-create a sanctuary where self-compassion and nurturing replace doubt,
Allowing your inner child to feel supported and even flourish.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable space where you can fully immerse yourself in this guided meditation.
Take a moment to settle into a relaxed posture,
Gently closing your eyes and beginning to focus on your breath.
Breathing deeply,
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
As you exhale,
You may invite any lingering tension to slowly drift away,
Allowing yourself to ground into this present moment.
We will begin the meditation by exploring positive reinforcement and how it can be used as a powerful tool on your inner child healing journey.
It can look as simple as acknowledging your own achievements with words of encouragement.
No matter how small,
It can show up as the act of celebrating your success,
Embracing your strengths and recognizing the steps you've taken toward growth and self-love.
Positive reinforcement can also manifest as self-care rituals,
Moments where you intentionally nurture yourself,
Providing the comfort and compassion that your inner child craves.
It's a kind word spoken to yourself,
A gentle touch on your shoulder or even a loving smile in the mirror.
You may even take a moment right now to acknowledge how far you've come on this journey of healing your inner child and how you've already,
Perhaps unknowingly,
Been giving yourself and your inner child the gifts of positive reinforcement and gentle touch.
You may begin to imagine yourself in a serene room.
Perhaps it's one that you've already visited on the previous days of this meditation journey or,
Perhaps,
It's someplace new.
Wherever it is,
Begin to feel the energy in this space,
A space that vibrates with gentle,
Nurturing energy.
In this room,
You can imagine that you are surrounded by a soft,
Golden light that showers you in a warm and loving embrace.
Begin to feel the gentle caress of this light on your skin,
A reminder that you are safe and cherished in this moment.
Taking another moment here to reflect on any negative beliefs or self-doubt that you may still be carrying from your childhood.
These beliefs may have whispered to you in moments of vulnerability,
Moments where you may have felt triggered or helpless or feeling a loss of control,
Shaping the way you perceive yourself and the world around you.
As you acknowledge these beliefs,
You may begin to realize that these beliefs no longer serve your growth or well-being or the beautiful and loving compassion that you have grown within yourself.
This is where the opportunity to provide yourself with positive reinforcement can show up to support you in your continued expansion to celebrate and love yourself more and more.
You can allow yourself a moment to invite an empowering statement to show up in your mind,
One that resonates with your inner child's need for love and affirmation as much as it resonates for your own self of acknowledgement.
You can invite this affirmation to become your beacon of light,
Dispelling any shadows of doubt.
You may even begin to visualize a mirror in front of you,
Repeating this affirmation to yourself,
Your reflection in the mirror,
And allowing the truth of this affirmation to wash over you.
With the power of this affirmation that you and your inner child have created for yourselves,
You may feel called to recite more affirmations that you can even visualize as rays of light piercing through the darkness of the negative beliefs that still exist.
These affirmations may be,
I am deserving of love and kindness.
I am worthy of all the good that comes my way.
My inner child is safe,
Protected and loved.
I can show the love to myself that I have been longing for outside of myself.
The deepest love I feel is the one that comes from within.
There are so many wonderful things that I am so proud of in my life.
I am worthy of celebration.
Beginning to notice this shift in your reflection in the mirror,
Perhaps noticing how these statements are making you feel,
Or noticing the feeling of the gentle warmth as these words embrace your inner child,
Whispering words of love and reassurance.
Allow yourself to sense any transformation taking place within you,
Whether you notice this in your reflection or notice them in your heart,
No matter how big or small.
You may welcome these affirmations as the positive reinforcements you deserve to receive to acknowledge just how wonderful you are.
Celebrating once again just how far you've come on this journey.
Now as you continue to bask in this healing light,
Allow yourself to let go of any judgements or criticism you might hold towards your inner child or yourself.
Know that we are all imperfect beings,
Learning and growing through life's experiences.
And knowing that outside of this meditation you can continue to find opportunities that practice sharing words of affirmation to yourself,
Celebrating your wins,
Taking time for self-care.
Knowing that no matter what is happening around you,
You have the power to offer yourself the positive reinforcements that will support you and your inner child to feel safe and loved.
We will now begin turning our attention towards the act of gentle self-touch,
Exploring just how powerful it can be to create feelings of safety,
Comfort and self-love.
Just as you have done before in this journey to heal your inner child,
You may begin by gently placing your hand on your heart,
Right over your chest.
Feel the warmth and reassurance of your touch as you connect with your inner child.
You can begin to acknowledge that your hand serves as a loving embrace,
A symbol of the care and comfort you offer yourself.
To deepen into this connection,
You may repeat the affirmation to yourself,
I am loved.
Sensing this deepening of the love that you have within your heart and as you maintain this gentle touch,
You may take a moment to explore the sensation that this touch and the affirmation leaves.
You may even feel compelled to repeat this affirmation to yourself again and again.
I am loved.
Feeling the steady rhythm of your heartbeat beneath your hand,
Recognising this as a reminder of the life force that flows within you.
Allow your touch to radiate feelings of love that continue to soothe your inner child's heart.
Now,
With your other hand,
Place it gently on your abdomen,
Just below your navel,
As a way to radiate a deeper feeling of safety in the body.
You may begin to sense the connection between your hands,
Their warmth,
Their presence.
And,
With this touch,
You may repeat the affirmation to yourself,
I am safe.
Taking a moment here to acknowledge that this touch represents the nurturing bond you have already created with your inner child,
This unspoken promise of care and support.
Perhaps you may even feel the familiar feeling of the safety of this loving bond even more because of this healing experience you have been on with your inner child these past six days.
You may even feel compelled to repeat this affirmation to yourself again and again.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am safe.
As you continue to maintain both touches,
You may take a deep breath here,
Inhaling the love,
Safety and acceptance you offer yourself.
And with the exhale,
Releasing any remaining tension or doubt.
With each breath you take,
You may notice how your inner child begins to feel safer and more loved as they lean into the tenderness of your touch.
With this comfort,
Perhaps you would like to offer more words of affirmation to your inner child,
Just as you have been doing,
Just as you have offered yourself today.
Allowing the feeling of this gentle touch you are extending to yourself to extend to them as well.
Sharing these affirmations with your inner child,
Repeating them with love.
I love and accept you just as you are.
You are worthy of love and belonging.
It's safe to express your emotions.
You are deserving of happiness and joy.
I am here to support and to nurture you.
As you speak these words,
Feel the powerful connection between your adult self and your inner child.
Sensing the love and compassion flowing freely between you,
Creating a bridge of understanding and acceptance.
With each breath you take,
Noticing the rising and falling of your chest.
You can begin to feel your bond growing stronger and the healing energy that connects the two of you.
Together,
You may invite your inner child to join you in holding hands as you begin to feel this desire to merge with your inner child,
Becoming one as you embody the feelings of innocence and joy.
You may even allow yourself to embrace the playfulness and curiosity of your younger self more and more,
Feeling as though now,
More than ever,
It is possible to experience life through their eyes once more.
Know that after this meditation,
At any time that you want to connect back to this feeling more and more,
You can simply use the act of gentle touch,
Placing your hand over your heart once again,
Or even embracing yourself in a gentle hug.
Remembering that so much love and kindness is embodied in offering yourself positive reinforcement and gentle touch and that you can access these tools wherever you go.
You may now gently open your eyes,
Knowing that the healing journey today is one of ongoing self-love and nurturing.
