Today we're going to amplify the peace within us,

To find the calm within the chaos that's all around us by connecting with our center.

So we're going to use some guided visualization as well as a mantra.

A mantra is just a Sanskrit word that translates to mind vehicle.

It's really a sound vibration that acts like an anchor so that when our minds drift away,

We can come back to this mantra and stay present.

Our mantra for today will be,

I am at peace.

So please find your comfortable seat and let your hands rest palms down on your knees.

Take a nice slow deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Allow your eyes to float closed.

Good,

Now let's start by taking a deep breath in to the count of five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

And hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

And release for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

And hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

And exhale for For one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five and hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five and inhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five and hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five and exhale for one,

Two,

4,

5 and hold for 1,

2,

3,

4,

5.

Now count your breath in and count your breath out like this a few more times on your own.

Good.

Now with your eyes still closed,

I want you to see an image of your physical body in your mind's eye.

So imagine that the shape of your body is encased in white healing light.

This light is like a protective shield.

It's protecting your energetic body from everything that's happening outside of you.

Feel the energy inside of you beginning to settle as it's surrounded by this protective and healing light.

Imagine all of your obligations,

Worries,

Anything that's creating stress and chaos in your life.

Imagine it all just swirling around outside of you.

It's on the other side of your cocoon of white light.

These things are swirling all around you but inside your body,

You are calm.

You are at peace because you're protected.

We can't control anything that's happening outside of us or around us.

So just allow all of that to move on by.

The more it moves,

The more relaxed and grounded you become because you're protected by that shield of healing light.

Now let's bring our attention back to our breath.

We're going to incorporate a mantra.

The mantra is,

I am at peace.

As you breathe in,

Silently and internally repeat,

I am and as you exhale,

Repeat,

At peace.

Inhale,

I am.

Exhale at peace.

Continue with this mantra for a few minutes and I'll watch the time for you.

Good.

Now release the mantra.

Take a moment to settle in to the sense of calm and ease throughout your body.

Take another deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth.

Good.

Now wiggle the fingers and begin to move your toes and when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Maintain your calm despite any external fluctuations during the day to day.

It's right here in your heart.
