Supporting Your Business Growth Energetically

Energetics provide an alternative perspective on business development. In this track, I share some basic energetics principles that will keep your business healthy and sustain your own energy too. This session is an exploration of energetics and how you can become more aware of the energetic relationships being established in your business.

Energetics isn't restricted to mindfulness and intention.

It incorporates the subtle interplays of energy which influence your experience as an individual.

If we understand the principles by which energy works,

Then we can choose to work with that energy positively to support business growth.

Everything tangible and intangible is made of energy.

At its core,

Your business is energetic.

It's purpose and intention that you work with to create actions and relationships.

As an entrepreneur,

This can be so wrapped up in your own energy who hasn't spent waking and sleeping moments thinking about next steps and solutions.

So much so that it is hard to distinguish the energy from your own.

It is perhaps easier to think of it as a subset of your energy rather than fully infused in your energy.

Because keeping a line between yourself as a human and yourself as an entrepreneur is a healthy thing to do.

Something I advise my clients to do is to consciously disconnect from their business energy at the end of the day.

You most likely will have the odd idea,

But choosing to step away from your business keeps a distinction between who you are in your business and who you are outside it.

And this gives you space to fully explore life rather than always having your entrepreneur hat on.

Business energy is not one thing,

Just as you are not one thing.

It is a series of frequencies that layer up into an expression of purpose and action.

These frequencies are organized into five layers that build the energetics from the inside out.

At the center is a series of frequencies that define the intention and reason for being without attachment to a particular form of expression.

These begin to be shaped in the next layer which is the DNA,

Which holds the values,

Vision,

Purpose,

Transformation and impact that business is born to create.

This is further shaped by the next layer of energetic structures.

These are the underpinning beliefs which flow into the structure of operation.

These energetic structures then determine the expression of energy through action,

The types of customer and client facing opportunities you offer,

The way you market,

Where you're present,

How you sell,

Things like that.

And it is also where your leadership is honed and your capacity to take your business out to others is established.

These four layers create the foundations of a resilient business so that the fifth layer can function effectively and naturally.

The fifth layer is the entity where all the energies of your business come together both from you and your stakeholders.

It's a melting pot of frequencies that can be hard to hold if the foundations aren't there.

Clients,

Customers,

Suppliers,

Coaches,

Mentors,

They all bring energy into the mix which makes it very easy to get derailed.

You have to be able to hold your centre.

This is why I structure all my work with clients working from the inside of a business out.

It helps them to build the capacity to manage the energetic expansion of expression that is part and parcel of a healthy business.

Frequencies provide nuance and subtlety in business design and development.

Understanding the individual frequencies of essence and sole client,

For example,

Helps you to build understanding of where balance needs to be created.

It helps you decide what feels right and what feels off.

Frequencies are understood intuitively.

Intuition is our wisest guide.

The challenge is translating intuitive awareness into solid steps.

I have found that layering this intuitive wisdom up through experiencing individual frequencies makes it easier to understand the feel of the action as a whole.

I work with around 40 different frequencies through these five layers to build gentle,

Growing understanding of the shape and expression of a business through both the creative process and the receiving of energy that is vital for business to grow.

The ability to distinguish the influence of different frequencies lets you also identify where any dissonance might arise.

It offers a subtle nuance to your decision making.

For example,

You get offered a slot on a podcast,

Which is exactly what you've been looking for.

But the specific focus of the proposed conversation feels off purely in relation to one aspect of your communication frequencies,

Which means you can decide to negotiate a better focus or try to find a better match.

Often we make these decisions logically.

The audience is a good match,

The podcast topic is a good match,

And we talk ourselves into it while still feeling a little off kilter.

Frequency work supports you to make better decisions,

Leading to better results for your business.

As entrepreneurs,

Our energy and time is focused on expression energies.

We create programs or experiences,

We pour ourselves into marketing and content,

And generally put ourselves out there.

Energetically,

This is one half of the equation.

Extending your energy is a conversation,

Not a monologue.

The creative cycle flows from creation to expression to receiving and to growing.

Your business is only healthy if you have the capacity to receive and grow.

Coming back to the energetic layers of a business,

Receiving into your business changes the energetic dynamics.

Suddenly this whole starts to include lots of different energies,

Which changes the harmonic.

That's when receiving into your business,

That's clients,

Money or opportunity,

Begins to tax your energetic capacity.

It is really hard to hold your business through the receiving phases if your internal foundations aren't solid.

When you extend energy,

It anchors somewhere,

And that creates a return wave of energy.

Think about the act of promoting a program.

Your content is shared,

It's received,

And then someone chooses to engage.

So you need systems and processes to do that.

But energetically,

A wave of energy goes out,

It creates a reaction.

The energetic response then comes back to you.

So you need the systems and processes,

But you also need capacity and sometimes practices to help you receive that energy.

Many people will go through a launch phase and find themselves utterly exhausted by the process,

Such that they don't have the energy to receive clients and start the work.

This is a classic example of how creation and receiving can get out of balance.

It's also a clear demonstration of choosing strategies that work for you,

Rather than those that come off the shelf.

Whatever you do to extend your energy,

You need to be able to receive the return energy,

And for this you need energetic capacity in addition to your practical processes.

So work on your receiving capacity and your capacity to hold energy in your orbit.

Extending energy in ways that creates a positive reaction comes down to energetic integrity.

This is the process of extending energy in ways that match its frequency.

As an extreme example,

Imagine that you're offering a small group of people a gentle,

Intimate experience,

But you sell it with lots of countdowns and fear of missing out language.

There is an energetic disconnect between the experience itself and the way it is sold.

This results in lack of energetic coherence for your audience,

Which either makes them hesitant,

Or if they responded to the pressure,

They're on the back foot when they enter the experience.

The language,

Tone,

Style and visuals associated with the experience need to hold the energy as it is shared.

Consciously choosing the methods and style of sharing to match the energy leads to a better experience for your audience and better results for you.

To get better at matching energy,

First learn to hold the energy of your offer passively.

This is a relatively simple process of attuning yourself to it and ensuring you have the capacity to hold it.

This passive energy is still felt by those who are already primed to connect to it.

Passively holding energy makes you a beacon for those who are already looking.

For those who aren't looking,

Or at least not in the right direction,

Active presence is needed.

This is conscious extension of energy through strategic actions that sustain the energetic signature.

In other words,

Choosing the right formats,

The timings,

The platforms and the methods of outreach that are in integrity with the energy.

This makes you a magnet for those who need a guide to show them the path they are on.

What happens in the public facing aspects of your business needs to be mirrored behind the scenes too.

If your onboarding systems are dissonant with the energy,

For example,

It will make your clients uncomfortable and less ready to do the work they signed up for.

Tweak your administrative systems as needed to ensure they maintain the coherence of the experience to get better client feedback and outcomes.

Business is full of harshness,

But transformational experiences don't flourish with harshness.

The ability to work with change needs a certain gentleness.

Working with the energies of your business gives you the ability to work in ways that allow transformation to happen more easily.

And when your work is more easily received,

The results begin to stack for your business,

Which makes growth more achievable.

Energetic integrity in how you think and act within your business actively supports it to expand and find a way forward.

There are many perceived obstacles,

But energy is meant to move around,

Over,

Through.

Working with the energies primarily gives you a freedom to follow the natural movement of energy to find more gentleness of experience and growth.

From connection to the energies,

You can find approaches and styles that work for you and match the intention of your business.

And that will take you outside the standards and into a transformation of your entire field of work.
