And here you are resting at the end of another day and you can listen to this right now making yourself just as comfortable as you like to be.

Maybe noticing the way that your head is resting on the pillow and the way that your body feels as you find that really comfortable spot and that feeling of relaxation beginning somewhere in your body.

And while you're noticing these things you can also begin to focus on your breathing and with each breath finding yourself drifting inside as every exhale takes you deeper and deeper into that sense of peace.

Like a gentle stream flowing down a beautiful mountain and whatever you're experiencing as you're listening to my voice now and hearing it with your ears I want you to know that you are doing it right.

So just allow your mind to be free and to begin to imagine standing next to a beautiful peaceful stream and you can notice that the longer you stand here the more crisp the more vivid and the more lifelike this peaceful setting is becoming.

Notice yourself supported by the ground beneath your feet feeling the temperature of the air as you look up to the sky and becoming more aware of the colors and perhaps you might also hear the sound of the water and I don't know if it's a babbling brook or if it's a gushing stream or a gentle flowing river.

And as you're watching the water here in this peaceful place you can begin to think about your body because your body is your sensory window to the world.

It's the beautiful gift that you have to experience your life and the joy of being alive as you can appreciate what life really is through your body.

Those wonderful feet that you can see right now that keep you upright helping you to balance in just the right way and letting you run forward to all the places in life that you want to go into the arms of your friends or family.

And then you can just think about your legs those lovely legs and whatever shape and size and length those legs are you can use those legs and they allow you to dance and glide and stroll around inside of your life at whatever speed you want to go.

Maybe you can jump for joy or spring and bounce and those legs that let you paddle your way through the waters moving yourself forward floating on your back and kicking them.

And then thinking about your back and your spine which supports you and holds you up tall and proud so that you can walk through life standing tall.

And that flexibility that allows you to curve down to reach those lower places around you the floor and things on the ground.

Sometimes there's important things down there that you need to be able to grip and hold just as that spine allows you to stretch all the way up and reach the high places and bring things down to you where you are now.

And your back is strong and is the center of your entire body connecting your arms and your legs and your head.

And you can really appreciate how much work it does for you allowing you to sit allowing you to stand.

And you can also think about your shoulders those shoulders that allow you to carry bags and make your life easy.

And you can imagine having a bag on those shoulders and dropping it and feeling that freedom inside of those shoulder blades.

Being able to shrug and know that it's okay not to know.

And those shoulders allow the people you love to rest to place their head or their body and lean on you for support.

Because those shoulders are not just there to support you but they're there to support the people that matter the most.

And I know you can love those arms as well because your arms allow you to do so much.

They keep you balanced and stable and they allow you to give hugs and to wrap them around yourself to keep warm on a cold night to huddle or to open them wide with joy as you open yourself up right now.

Imagining that stretching those arms out lifting your face up to the Sun and they allow you to push things away.

To push away the things that you just no longer need or the things that you want to push away from you.

And on the end of those arms are your hands and your fingers and your thumbs and those hands are your creative tools that you can use to build and make special things like paintings and holding a paintbrush or a pen and allowing your energy just to flow out into those fingers and through that paintbrush or inside of that pen and to put those words or beautiful images down.

And those hands that you use to touch the world around you to stroke your pets or maybe just to stroke the cheek of somebody that you really love as you're staring into their eyes.

And those hands and those fingers deserve your appreciation now.

And then you can think about your heart that's beating in your chest and your heart keeps on beating whether you are aware or completely unaware it's always looking out for you bathing your body in life-giving oxygen allowing you to feel that love that heartfelt energy that powerful sensation that lets you know that you care deeply about the people in your life.

And your heart beats now just as you're lying there and it always knows the exact right speed to go fast to allow you to run and play and fly through your life or to go slowly as it is now and let you rest comfortably calmly.

And those lungs of yours in your chest that breathe in and out and inflate and deflate and each inflates just follows each deflate so naturally and it happens all by itself and you don't need to do anything at all but appreciate how beautiful your lungs really are because if you could see inside of your lungs you would be surprised to discover that they are shaped just like the branches of a tree.

A beautiful tree of life living inside of you designed to take all of that oxygen out of the air and to allow your body to just absorb all the precious things that it needs and at the same time to be able to release release the toxins back into that outward breath on your tummy as you enjoy eating foods and tasting foods in your mouth and your tummy just digest the food and it gives you all of the energy that you need to do everything to do everything that you love to do in life.

What are those things that you need the energy to do and perhaps you can send gratitude now in whatever form is right down into your tummy so it can do its job even more effectively as it feels the love from you and whatever size and shape your tummy is it can do a perfect job of breaking down that yummy food and turning it into a power source that your body can plug into and generate just the right energy for you and your face your wonderful face that you see in the mirror every day and just take for granted that you have that face because you are already a winner you made it here and I don't know where you came from whether it was from some distant star light years away or whether it's a pure source of energy coming from the universe or some higher being or God but wherever you came from you are already a winner because you are here in this body and that face that you look at every day is a gift and your smile and that face allows you to just naturally connect in the most wonderful way with people around you and to share your joy with them and to show all of your feelings right there so that others can see and give you that help when you need it the most and your mouth that you use to sing and allow your voice to pour out into the world in the form of words or music or humming giving your energy to other people or allowing you to taste the delicious flavors of all of your favorite foods and your eyes those windows from which you see all the beauty around you the mountains the sandy beach the waves crashing against the shore the beautiful twinkling lights of the city or the stars in the dark sky or watching a fire crackle and burn or maybe the fireworks lighting up the sky above and your eyes allow you to read words on a page and transform other people's thoughts into your own or to watch people doing interesting and funny things like magicians pulling rabbits out of hats or making things disappear and being entertained and allowing you to learn by watching other people do the most magnificent things because just like when you were a little baby and you learn to walk you didn't have to care about failing you could just watch and those eyes let you know where you're going where is it you're headed to in your life and your eyes allow you to see into the future inside of your mind and into the past looking at the places where you've been looking at the things around you that remind you of the places that you've been holding the memories and your ears so wonderful the miracle of music those vibrations in the air that you can hear the beats of the drums sounds of instruments of violins or deep cellos or the beautiful lilting noise of the flute and listening to the relaxing sounds of nature like the babbling brook or a gushing stream or the wind rustling through the trees and the birds singing their songs tweeting and chirping as the Sun rises in the sky and you can hear the laughter the laughter of friends the laughter of family the voices saying I love you the voice is telling you reassuring words that you need to hear and singing those beautiful songs how lucky you are to have those ears and your head and your mind which gives you the means to learn and grow and make sense of the world around you and to bring those wonderful ideas that you have into the world as they travel from your mind into your hands and you can just notice the universe working around you as your mind gives you access to future future that's never happened yet and a future that can be yours all you have to do is imagine and want and make things happen and those memories those special moments stored in your mind moments of joy and anticipation and excitement when you know you've got something special ahead could be a party or a holiday traveling away somewhere new and that feeling when you're just waiting for it to happen as you imagine it inside of your mind and I know because you're traveling already inside of your own imagination and in here all things are possible and your body is the gateway to all of that possibility so you can have so much love for yourself and all that is you every single cell can begin to just radiate with your love maybe experiencing it like a color or a light and you can soak it in and you can want to care for your body because it deserves your love to listen to your feelings and what they're trying to tell you to be healthy eat healthy food to show that love for yourself and to rest your body well to exercise and get out there in the fresh air being at one with nature as you were naturally born to do and every day to do the little things as you're standing there under the water in that shower each day know that it's a power shower where you can love your body and just allow your body to love you right back and you can be connected now again with yours in all of the ways you want to be in all of the ways that matter the most to you as you feel that loving connection and appreciation and can recognize how special you really are and now just allow your imagination to take you wherever you want to go as you drift off and sleep sleep and sleep
