Hello,
This is Petrina,
And I'd like to share a special rendition of this beautiful hymn,
Amazing Grace.
This is a song that has been bringing me peace and joy and healing since my very early childhood days.
I used to sing it with my grandma very often.
Whenever I needed to feel loved and comforted and peaceful and at ease,
We would sing this song together.
And my grandma is no longer with us.
She was my favorite human being.
She raised me,
And I miss her every single day.
There's this gaping hole in my heart.
But every time I sing this song or I hear the beautiful words of Amazing Grace,
I find peace and healing and comfort and ease,
And it makes me a little bit more strong.
And so I'd like to share this special rendition with you,
And it is my hope that you too will experience the same comfort,
The same ease and joy and peace that I find in this beautiful hymn.
We live in a world that is fast-paced and chaotic and often can make us feel unsafe and uneasy.
And I'm here to remind you that within each and every single one of us,
We have the power to transform.
This song helps me to transform pain and grief into comfort and ease.
So here goes.
Amazing Grace,
How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost,
But now I'm found.
Was blind,
But now I see.
T'was grace that taught my heart to fear.
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious is that grace appear.
The hour I first believed.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
Praise God.
I hope that was peaceful and joyful and comforting.
And I hope it brought your heart some healing.
And I hope you will come back to this rendition over and over again,
Whenever you're feeling disconnected from yourself,
Whenever you're feeling uncomfortable in your own being,
Uncentered,
And just need to find yourself back home to you,
Where there is always comfort and peace and ease.
I hope you will return to this,
And I hope it will fill that space in your heart.
From my heart to yours,
With so much love,
I thank you for listening,
And I hope to see you again in my other meditation and yoga sessions.
See you soon.
Namaste.
