Welcome to this meditation of mindfulness with colors with Peter Radcliffe.

So with this meditation we're going to take mindfulness of breathing to the next level by associating visualizations in the form of colors with each part of the breath.

So in the last meditation we talked about being aware of the inhalation,

The retention and the exhalation.

Begin meditating in this way once again,

Being aware of each part of the breath.

And then as we concentrate on the in-breath visualize bringing in white light.

You can imagine the air coming in through your nostrils or your mouth in the form of white light or you can even imagine absorbing that white light through all the pores of your body.

And this white light contains all the healing energy and positive emotions that will help you in your meditation practice.

Now as we get to the retention part of the breath visualize that this positive energy turns to the same color as the blood of your body,

A deep red color and actually becomes absorbed in every single cell of your body so that these positive qualities become part of you.

And then as we get to the exhalation part of the breath you can visualize that any problems,

Pains,

Itches or other issues that are distracting you from your meditation be breathed out in the form of a dark blue light.

And then continue as we did before with the inhalation breathing in white light again.

Now remember you can breathe in whatever qualities you like for example patience,

Joyfulness or even determination,

Whatever you need at this present moment to help you in your meditation practice.

Sometimes I like to breathe in the deepness of the oceans or the majesty of the mountains,

Whatever works for you.

Now meditating by bringing in these positive qualities not only helps your meditation practice by actually bringing this positive quality to your mind and to your presence but of course it also adds interest in your meditation object to keep you focused on the breath for a longer period of time.

So now meditate in this way for as long as possible or until you're ready to rise from the meditation.

Very good.... I really do like the idea visualizing colors. I did this earlier today and I accidentally did not give it a five-star. It is certainly a five-star in my opinion. I apologize for that.
