Ever feel like you're not supposed to be in the position you are? Feel that thought in the back of your head that tells you "you aren't good enough" or "you're not meant to be doing this" or "what makes you think you're qualified?". This meditation is set up to break free from those thoughts, you are enough. You are more than enough, just as you are. You are more than qualified, you are loved.

Hello and welcome to your guided meditation.

I invite you to find a comfortable seated position or lie down flat on your back and begin focusing on the breath,

Inhaling and exhaling with intentionality and grace.

With each breath imagining that you are sinking deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.

As you feel this calming sensation washing over your body,

I invite you to visualise what it is that you are so passionate about.

Perhaps you're a dancer,

Perhaps you're an entrepreneur.

Maybe you're a mother,

A father.

Whatever it is that you are so passionate about that lights your heart and soul on fire,

That helps you get out of bed in the morning with purpose and dedication.

I invite you to visualise that now.

What is it that makes you love this life?

Now I invite you to think about anything that comes to mind when you start to feel like an imposter.

Like you're a fake,

A fraud,

You're not good enough,

Someone can do it better.

Are there any areas that hold you back?

That gripping fear that says you're not enough?

Think about those elements now.

Does it happen in public speaking perhaps?

Or when you're asked to go on stage?

Or when those little thoughts start to creep up of comparing yourself to someone else?

I invite you now to take that thought pattern,

To take that emotion and inhale it deeply,

Balling it up into a tight ball of energy,

In through the nose,

Inhaling.

We're going to just let it out the mouth,

Audibly exhale.

Really have that audible exhalation where we're utilising the alchemy of the breath to fire it up and let it go.

Let's try it one more time,

Taking that energy,

That emotion,

That memory,

Inhaling it deeply.

Letting it out the mouth audibly.

And slowly closing your mouth,

Regaining this deep yogic breath in which we inhale and exhale out the nose.

I invite you to notice perhaps if you have a gentle calming energy washing over you,

As you were willing to just let that story go.

As you were willing to let that emotion,

That negativity,

That limiting belief out of the body and release.

Now I invite you as we've cleared this new space to remind yourself of why you are the right person for this role in life.

Why does it have to be you?

Why should you be the one to write this story,

To sing this song,

To raise this child?

Think about all the reasons why you are so qualified.

Remind yourself of all the times that you soared in the face of adversity.

That you triumphed.

Even recalling those failures and reminding yourself that you are still standing.

You are still here.

And then reminding yourself that you have beautiful gifts to give this world.

So if not you,

Then who?

It is our faith and our belief in ourselves that helps us rise to the occasion.

It is our fear and doubt that will hold us down.

So I invite you to remember this practice.

If you ever start to feel imposter syndrome creeping up,

If you start to feel like you are not enough,

Release it with the breath,

Utilize the alchemy of change and then fill yourself full of positivity and remind yourself of why you are so incredibly qualified for this role in your life.

Perhaps rolling the shoulders back a few times as we slowly bring the awareness back into our physical body.

Feeling that pride within our chest as we remind ourselves that we are capable,

That we are qualified and that we are enough.

When you are ready,

Slowly opening your eyes to the day,

Bringing this newfound dedication and conviction into your life with a simple thought and reminder that you are enough.

Sigh. Thank you so much for offering this helpful meditation. I really loved the image of exhaling the negative thoughts. Again thank you. πŸŒˆπŸ’›
