'Embrace The Stillness' Meditation

Using a brief breathing pattern to begin our meditation, we embrace blissful stillness by first embracing the breath. Resting in the heart of peace, we continue to make every breath count so we may embrace what is; embrace the hidden blessings tucked away in our challenges; embrace support that shows up out of the blue; and, in the spirit of love, embrace the wonder of stillness. We are grateful for every breath and use the breath now to embrace stillness,

Allowing the breath to relax us,

To be the anchor that keeps us in the present moment.

So if we become distracted by sounds,

Thoughts,

Sensations or agitations,

We merely bring our attention back to the breath,

Life source,

The breath.

Every breath counts.

So I invite you to drop your shoulders from around your ears and take in a deep,

A deep,

Deliberate breath and exhale as slowly as possible,

Allowing all the air to be expelled.

Feel the warmth of the breath as it flows through your nose and out through your mouth.

Now take the breath in through the mouth and exhale through your nose,

Then breathe in through your nose and out again through your nose,

And then in through the mouth and out through the mouth.

One more time.

We breathe in through our nose and out through our mouth,

Then in through the mouth and out through the nose,

Then in through the nose and out through the nose,

In through the mouth and out through the mouth,

And then breathe at your own pace,

Your own rhythm,

Relaxing more and more into the moment.

Embrace the stillness with the breath.

Embrace the light with every breath.

Embrace the spirit within with every breath and embrace love.

Imagine you're breathing love into your heart center and then exhale,

Imagining the breath flowing from your heart out into your environment.

Taking in the next breath,

Imagining it flowing into the heart.

The heart expands to embrace more love,

More light,

More joy,

More spirit,

More stillness.

Allow the heart to open and expand even more with the next breath.

Every breath counts in embracing love,

Light,

Joy,

Power,

And stillness.

So breathe into your heart space now,

The abode of love that is filled and thrilled with a dynamic power that propels and ushers unconditional love into every action,

Every desire,

Every decision,

Every interaction.

Breathe from the abode of love now.

Feel the dynamic power of love at work within and around you,

Holding you in its embrace.

Embrace the peace.

Let it fill that heart space now.

Become the epitome of a peaceful heart.

Embrace wonder.

Let it fill and thrill through your heart space now.

Invite in blissful,

Luscious living and being.

Embrace what is.

Struggle no more to push away that which causes discomfort or pain,

But embrace the stillness and let it soothe,

Quell,

And calm every part of your being.

Embrace the light and let it illumine mind and heart,

Bringing awareness of the hidden blessings in every crevice and corner of the experience.

Embrace trust.

Trust the process.

Know you are safe.

You are loved.

You are resourceful and resilient,

Capable and strong.

Embrace support that brings you through every situation,

Wiser,

Empowered,

Grateful,

A little more compassionate,

More faith-filled in divine possibilities.

Every breath counts.

So embrace the breath.

Embrace the stillness.

Embrace the love.

Embrace the spirit.

And now prepare to embrace the present moment,

Bringing our awareness and consciousness back to this time and place.

Let that love and peace.

Let that stillness,

Light,

Power,

And strength become the stepping stone,

Become the path on which you navigate your way through life,

Remembering that every breath counts,

Counts,

Remembering to embrace the stillness.

And so it is.
