Anxiety as Energy. We all have moments of anxiety in our lives, some fleeting, some long-lasting. What if we took a different approach to deal with our anxiety? What can we learn from it? How can we use it to our advantage instead of letting it control us? Let's use our minds to guide us to an answer

We are continuing to talk about anxiety as a state of separation from the whole,

From the whole of ourselves,

From the whole of our community,

From the whole of the universe.

And so last night,

Not very important,

But I'm planning a little party for Otto and oh God,

All the details going in my mind and I'm getting more stressed,

A little more anxious,

And I have to prepare for that.

And then I thought,

Yeah,

That's it.

This is what happens,

Right?

If I am in a state of separation,

I'm not in flow and I think that I have to do everything and I roll into my mind over and over and over again in an attempt to control it.

What I get instead in each role of my thoughts is an increased level of stress and anxiety.

My energy frequency begins to fragment and become incoherent and I become more detached from my whole self,

The whole of the community,

The whole of the universe.

I thought,

Oh,

This is it in action.

Of course,

We just do it.

I thought,

Well,

I thought,

What do we do here?

How does this apply in the real world?

And so I said,

Well,

All the tasks are not mine.

The community,

Many people will be able to help me do these tasks that I think are so important that most people won't even notice if they happen or not.

I am not accounting for the serendipity of life and that if I'm in the flow of things,

I'm not in my mind,

But if I'm in my body,

In an experience,

In a state of receptivity,

Then the universe steps in and helps.

And I don't know how that will be,

But I have faith that that will be true.

And then I take these moments and I connect to my body.

And after doing those three things,

Those steps,

Connecting to the community,

Connecting to my faith and the support and the abundance that I know is around me and connecting to my body,

I felt peacefully asleep.

I could have stayed awake for several more hours,

Planning several more things,

And then repeating that plan over and over and over again in the mind's attempt to control.

But I chose not that.

I chose to sleep and I chose to use the tools to change my current state because it's one thing to be able to talk about it and theorize and intellectualize about these ideas.

It is very much a different sensation to be able to actually apply them to do the thing that you're talking about,

That we are saying will actually change,

Create change in our habit structure.

So I think that another way,

Or I know that another way to do that is through meditation.

That is when I literally walk away from my thoughts,

Not in a state of going nowhere,

Just not thinking.

So then my mind will go,

What do I do?

What do I do?

If I'm not thinking,

What will I do?

I place it in the body.

I place it in the experience so that it is grounded and it is tethered.

If all I do is tell my mind not thinking,

No thinking,

Stop thinking,

It doesn't know what else to do and it must do something.

So I give it,

I task it to,

Which it loves,

It could task,

To experience this current moment,

Experience the physicality of the body that it is so beautifully tied to.

The web between the mind and the body is a perfect synergy if we approach it that way,

If we feed it in that way,

If we remind the body and the mind that they are together on the same team.

Let us begin to meditate.

Finding your comfortable seat and your gazing point.

We will go into OM meditation at the end.

So if you're going to put on headphones,

Do that now.

And then bow your eyes to rest.

Rest in and of itself is a state of receptivity.

And in a state of receptivity,

We are in a state of connection.

We can feel our breath come in right underneath the stillness.

Setting up a rhythm that we can connect to the in and out.

Open the gaze so that it is not looking at any one thing,

But it can perceive many things in its expanded state.

It's good to feel the earth beneath you.

How supportive and constant it is.

Always there.

Never not there.

You can rest in it.

You can have faith in it.

That might help you to close your eyes and go inward.

Bowing your tail to further root you into the mother herb.

And then you very well might be continuing to have this experience in the level of the mind.

We'd like you to consciously draw your awareness to your navel center.

Experience this time,

This meditation,

As if that was your mind.

Listening to the intelligence of your gut,

Of your deep center.

You feel the word out,

Your Council feels that you're this wholeiver.

It is said that the human condition,

Human body,

Has three major ports of intelligence.

And every one of them equal in its ability to perceive and to process the gut,

The heart,

And the head.

And we use only one over and again,

Neglecting the others,

Neglecting our wholeness.

Continuing to be here in this present moment,

Now through the portal of the heart.

Now,

Through the portal of the heart.

Now,

Through the portal of the heart.

From this place of awareness,

Can you feel the surface of your soul?

How it's met the environment around it.

Can you bring your awareness to that meeting place,

Beginning to blur the lines of perceived separation,

You and the world?

No,

It's really you in the world and the world in you.

Can you begin to feel the center of your head as a place of balance,

Another sense perception,

Not your mind,

The center of your head.

And from there becoming aware of the world around you,

World around you leading you to your center.

Once you're ready,

You'll go to that port of the seat of the Buddha,

Drawing your awareness into a state of expansion.

Once you merge with the frequency of the sound,

Further blurring the lines of independence,

Instead of trailing up or unity and connection.

No,

Just a moment more.

Aah.

.

.

.

Letting the breath begin to take.

So,

Your current expanded state,

The feeling of your breath,

This new sensation in your body.

Maybe you feel more spacious,

More connected,

More grounded.

Even if you feel distracted,

There is another underlying feeling.

Try to connect to that.

And as you're ready,

And in your own time,

You can go ahead and open your eyes.
