Welcome.
This is a practice designed for those who serve,
Those who listen deeply,
Hold compassionately and support transformation.
And while your work may be powerful and fulfilling,
It can also be energetically demanding,
Especially when your care spills over into over merging.
So this meditation is here to help you prepare your system before you guide someone.
To support you in holding a space that is open and present without becoming fused with your client's energy,
Emotions or process.
We're going to anchor,
Center and create a living boundary so you can connect without absorbing,
Support without rescuing and serve without depletion.
So let's begin.
Start by finding a quiet space where you won't be disturbed.
Sit comfortably with a tall spine or lie down if that serves your body better.
When you feel ready,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze and take a long,
Gentle breath in and a full breath out.
Let your breath begin to deepen,
Not to force relaxation,
But to invite presence,
To shift you from doing into being.
Let your shoulders drop,
Unclench your jaw,
Soften your hands.
As you breathe,
Begin to arrive more fully into your body.
Bring your awareness to the base of your body,
Your sit bones,
Your feet,
Whatever touches the ground.
Imagine your body being drawn downward into the stability of the earth below.
With each exhale,
Let yourself root a little bit deeper,
Like tree roots growing from your tailbone,
Your feet,
Your spine,
Spreading wide and deep into the ground.
You are tethered here,
Supported here.
The earth can hold you,
Even as you prepare to hold space for others.
Let the ground beneath you become your first boundary.
It says you are not alone,
You are not doing this alone.
Now imagine a soft,
Luminous bubble forming around your body.
It extends about two feet in all directions,
Front,
Back,
Sides,
Above and below.
This is your energetic boundary.
It's not a wall,
It's a membrane,
Living,
Intelligent and porous.
It allows compassion to flow outward,
But it doesn't allow chaos to flow inward.
It lets in what's useful,
It filters what's not yours.
Now gently fill this bubble with your breath.
Let your inhale expand the space within it.
Let your exhale ground it into the earth.
This is your field.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to stay in your own center.
Now feel yourself truly inhabiting your body and your bubble.
Many facilitators unconsciously vacate their own center to be there for a client.
This time stay home.
Let your breath gently scan your inner landscape,
Noticing your face,
Neck,
Chest,
Belly,
Pelvis,
Legs,
And breathe into the shape of you.
Inhale,
I fill my own space.
Exhale,
I remain present with myself.
You're not shrinking.
You're not extending.
You're not merging.
You're simply being in your full presence.
And this is the greatest gift you can offer a client,
A regulated,
Sovereign presence.
Now begin to imagine your client in front of you.
You don't need to picture details,
Just their presence.
See them in their bubble,
In their space.
And you remain in yours.
Your job is not to absorb their pain,
Not to fix,
Heal,
Or rescue.
Your role is to hold a field that is steady and attuned.
A space that says,
I see you,
I trust you.
Notice if any part of you leans forward,
Trying to help or do the session.
Just observe and gently lean back into yourself.
Repeat inwardly,
I can support without carrying.
I can feel without fusing.
I can guide without leaving myself.
Let these words ripple through your field.
Imagine your breath creating gentle waves within your bubble.
Each wave reinforcing your clarity.
Your grounded compassion.
Your energetic integrity.
Now place a hand over your heart or your belly.
Wherever you feel your center most alive.
Take three steady breaths here.
Inhaling,
I am grounded.
Exhaling,
I am clear.
Inhaling,
I serve from presence.
Exhaling,
I trust the process.
Inhaling,
I stay with myself as I hold space for others.
Exhaling,
I am whole.
And now set a simple internal intention for your upcoming session.
It could be a word like clarity,
Trust or connection.
Or a phrase like I will stay present.
Or I offer space,
Not solutions.
Let that intention settle in your heart.
Let it shape the energy you bring into the session.
And when you're ready,
Begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Gently open your eyes.
And come back.
And you can return to this practice after your session too.
To clear your field.
Reset your breath.
And return fully to yourself.
Protecting your energy is not about putting up walls.
It's about remembering your wholeness.
Honoring your limits.
And serving from a place of fullness,
Not fusion.
Thank you for showing up.
For yourself.
And for those you serve.
Namaste.
