Sunrise guided meditation.

So if you were to spend a few moments finding a comfortable and relaxed position.

So whether this is sitting on a chair or whether this is lying down somewhere that you can be undisturbed for the next 10 minutes to allow yourself the opportunity to immerse in this practice and take the self-care.

So whilst you find yourself getting comfortable just to spend a few moments just noticing what's here in your body right now.

It may have not been an opportunity the rest of the day noticing what's here in your body.

We often spend lots of our time in our minds to just taking a chance just to focus on what's here in your body.

So just noticing if there's any physical sensations that are here,

Any discomfort,

Any tension and if you're noticing that there is just seeing if you can breathe into those areas and softening and letting go some of that tension as you breathe out.

This may be an opportunity to notice whether to change your posture and whether allows you to feel more calm and relaxed.

Just adjusting in a mindful way.

So if we were to focus on our breath to notice our in breath and our out breath and moving that attention towards breathing as we notice the rise and fall of the abdominal wall and the pauses between the in breath and the out breath and the out breath and the out breath to the in breath and this time with the next in breath just allowing your body become more relaxed letting go some of that tension and your body to become heavier and more immersed in this practice.

Next invitation is to shift the focus away from our body and our breath to imagine in our mind's eye a picture of a sunset.

You may notice the sunset in your mind's eye it may be above a beach,

The ocean,

Field,

An open space.

Just allowing your mind to choose what feels right and noticing the sun and sunset.

Perhaps you might notice the different colors,

The reds,

The oranges,

Yellows,

Different shades of color and how it fades and blends into the sky and the darkness as the sun rises in the morning and as the sun comes down in the evening.

This time with the next in breath just allowing the unhelpful thoughts or tension,

Any areas of difficulty fade and go as the darkness starts to fade and the sun takes over the sky.

Just allowing your whole picture of the sunrise allowing it to form a picture of warmth and color golden hour of the sun and breathing in the sun allowing it to bring optimism,

Gratitude,

Positive thoughts.

The sunrise brings with each day or in the evening letting go of all the difficulties and the troubles that you may have had knowing the next day brings new opportunities.

Just allowing this to be here this moment.

Now in the final moments this guided imagery once again just noticing your body and your breathing,

Whether your body feels heavier,

More relaxed.

I'm going to be ringing the bell which mark the end of this practice.

Just be able to give yourself a few moments to be able to come around,

Be aware of your virtual space that you may be in,

What's around you in your room,

Your connection to the floor,

The bed,

The chair,

What else might be around you might be around you this moment in time.

So I'm going to ring the bell.

Thank you for listening.
