Transcript

During this 3 minute break,

Take a little while to notice and accept how you are.

So begin by pausing and by connecting in with how you feel physically.

And just accepting that,

Just for now.

Now connect with how you feel emotionally.

Whatever you feel,

Just allow that to be,

Just for now.

What's your state of mind like?

Peaceful,

Restless,

Angry,

Happy,

Whatever it is,

Notice it,

Allow it to be for a little while.

Do you have thoughts going through your mind?

If so,

Just let them go.

If they insist on staying,

That's okay too.

And now come back into awareness of the space around you.

And open your eyes.

I think the Mini-Moment meditations seem to have lower ratings because we go to them typically, when we are rushed, in situational stress or chaos, and therefore inner stress and chaos or confusion. Whether it be consiously or unconsciously, we are disappointed that we didn’t experience a Ta-Da! that we probably needed or are able to attain when we have more time and space to get centered. This meditation brought me to a moment of realization that I was subconsciously hoping for a Ta-Da! and there wasn’t going to be one. There was only my experience -the full, nitty-gritty experience- and ALL of it, from the physical pain to the inner suffering, was okay. This knowing may be constant, but it’s humbling to truly experience it in the moment where struggle exists. I’m grateful for the help in getting there so quickly. Total acceptance of my here and Now is my takeaway. Thank you Mr. O’Morain for being today’s conduit. Love and light.

Remember when we used to wait for things? This meditation, for me, is a brief but essential wedge into the din of my always on standby device mediated world. thank you.

Short and sweet, maybe a little "jingle" between pauses to help focus 🙏☘
