EFT Tapping With Bhramari Pranayama
EFT, Emotional Freedom Tecnique is a practice that used gentle tapping on particular points of the body, to relieve stress. Bhramari Pranayama is a breath technique, makinga humming sound like a honey bea. After training in both techniques, I have put the two together. Finding that it had a very positive effect with clients who came for treatment at my clinic.

Namaste.
My name is Sal and I've just returned from India where I stayed in Rishikesh at the Anand Prakash Ashram.
I've trained in Akhanda Yoga teacher training and this time I was out there with Yoga Rishi Vishwaketu,
My teacher,
Training in Hatha Raj which is Brahmari Pranayama within a sequence of yoga postures.
Yoga Rishi Vishwaketu is the founder of Akhanda Yoga and Hatha Raj and as I was exploring this I have been using Brahmari breath which is a honeybee sound,
Mmmmm,
Within my EFT practice.
I've used this with clients when they have found it really difficult to come up with a positive word,
When they are very stuck in trauma or anxiety and just can't think of anything to help them in the moment come out of difficult feelings.
So I thought I would share this with you today,
Going through the EFT points and explaining a little bit about how Brahmari can really help support our body,
Our mind.
So the honeybee sound Brahmari Pranayama creates space for life force energy,
Prana,
To flow with ease and grace through our chakras,
Our nadis and all the systems of our body having wonderful benefits.
And these can be balancing the pituitary and the pineal gland,
Creating happy hormones and bringing balance to the nervous system.
It helps to heal the body on a cellular level,
Helps to release repressed emotions,
Relieves stress,
Lowering blood pressure.
It helps to quieten and calm the mind,
Preparing us for meditation and opening those pathways to bliss.
I've really found that this technique can really remind me of my own natural magic and that my body produces the healing energy that I need to return back to balance and wholeness where I can rest again within my true nature.
And this technique really allows expansion.
As we inhale there's no sound and as we exhale we use the sound of honeybee.
Mmmmm.
So let's just come into placing our hands on our heart.
Noticing the inhalation and noticing the exhalation.
As you inhale notice how your breath expands your chest in all directions.
And as you exhale just allow your breath to surrender your body.
Inhaling chest expands in all directions and notice the space as you exhale.
Inhaling feeling your chest coming up to meet your palms.
And as you exhale your palms just follow your chest into relaxation and surrender.
Bringing your dominant hand and placing your fingertips on the top of your head just resting very gently on your crown.
As we use honeybee sound we're going to tap very gently on the top of the head.
These are the EFT,
The emotional freedom technique points.
So as we tap the top of the head we're stimulating pituitary and pineal gland deep within the brain.
Our tongue lies soft against the palate where we stimulate 84 acupuncture points.
So emptying your lungs.
Inhaling fully.
Exhale Brahmari and tap.
MMMMMMMMMM Taking a breath here.
Moving your fingertips to the third eye continuing to tap the pituitary and pineal gland.
Let's inhale together and as we exhale making Brahmari sound and tapping.
Inhale.
MMMMMMMMMM Placing your fingertips now on the inner part of your eyebrow next to the bridge of your nose.
This is a bladder acupuncture point.
And the bladder is about free flowing our energy.
Allowing us to ease away from stress and allow natural flow and ease back into our life,
Into our mind.
Inhaling.
Exhale tapping with Brahmari.
MMMMMMMM Moving your hand now to your outer eyebrow.
Connecting your fingertips and holding this point which is part of the gallbladder meridian.
Letting go of frustrations as we tap here.
Allowing ourselves to move from frustration into a little bit more equanimity creating space as we inhale.
And as we exhale tapping with honeybee sound.
MMMMMMMM Moving your fingertips now to the top of the cheekbone just below the centre of your eye.
And holding this point we stimulate the stomach meridian.
How do we digest information?
Pausing here to just allow space to think about this.
Through my senses how do I digest information?
Let's make some space so that we can digest information with ease and detachment.
Becoming the witness.
Inhaling.
Exhaling tapping with Brahmari.
MMMMMMMM Bringing your fingertips just underneath the nose at your top lip.
This is the end of the governing vessel.
So the energy will be flowing from the tailbone all the way up your spine over the top of your head.
Bringing strength,
Vitality and health to our central nervous system.
Let's inhale.
Exhale Brahmarian tap.
MMMMMMMM Bringing your fingertips now to your chin just below your bottom lip.
Gently holding this point it is near the end of the central vessel that flows from your pubic bone all the way up through the centre of the body to your bottom lip.
This is our protection.
It helps us to keep that pranic energy flowing with ease.
Let's help our natural life force energy as we inhale and exhale tapping with Brahmari.
MMMMMMMM Moving your fingertips now just below the collarbone in line with your earlobe.
This is the end of the kidney meridian.
Our kidneys are our filter system.
And here whilst tapping with Brahmari we can help just to send the message to help the kidneys filter with ease without stress.
Removing stress from our organs,
Our body.
Inhaling and exhaling tapping with Brahmari.
MMMMMMMM Coming down now to the same side in which you've been tapping on and using your fingertip to be placed now on the thumbnail.
This is the lung meridian.
This is where we store grief and stress.
So as we tap this point we're allowing that breath of life to flow in and out of our body with ease.
Helping us to loosen ourselves from the ties that bind us in any way to grief and stress.
Just creating space for that natural breath to occur.
Inhaling fully.
And exhaling with Brahmari sound.
MMMMMMMM Moving your finger now to the first finger nail bed.
And holding this point for a moment and connecting to the large intestine meridian.
As we tap this point this allows us to stimulate the natural peristalsis.
So that we can eliminate toxins with ease.
Let's inhale together.
Exhale tapping with Brahmari sound.
MMMMMMMM Inhaling and moving your fingertip now to the middle finger nail bed.
This is the pericardium.
It is the muscle around our heart.
So to me I always feel this is like the moat around the castle.
The castle being the heart.
Or it is the knight that protects the king or the queen.
This is where we create our boundaries.
Our safe boundaries where we allow love in and heal the hurts from our past or present.
So that we can step into the present moment with full love and gratitude for where we are right now.
Inhaling fully.
Exhaling and tapping with Brahmari sound.
MMMMMMM Inhaling and moving your fingernail to the ring finger nail bed.
This is our triple heater.
This is our regulator of our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.
So it helps to balance our autonomic nervous system.
Bringing us into balance.
Applying the break when we are stressed.
Or helping us have a little bit more vitality when we are feeling a little bit in a slump.
So let's come into that balance as we inhale fully.
And exhale as we tap with Brahmari sound.
MMMMMMM Moving your fingernail to the little fingernail bed.
This is heart meridian but also small intestine meridian.
So this is where we sort and transport energy.
What serves good purpose we digest.
And what doesn't serve good purpose we eliminate.
It is also about our circulatory system.
Our cells.
So let's inhale and support these two systems as we exhale with Brahmari sound and tapping.
MMMMMMM Finally we move to the karate chop point.
This is on the side of the hand in line with the little finger just below the little finger knuckle.
Just holding this point and connecting to the whole of our system.
The wholeness of our body.
Creating expansion and space as we tap here.
For wholeness,
Wellness,
Rest and restore.
Rest and digest.
And happy healing.
Inhaling together.
And exhaling Brahmari and tap.
MMMMMMM Placing the palm of your hands back on your heart centre.
Inhaling fully into the body.
And exhaling and surrender to this present moment.
And just noticing how you feel.
Have you created a little bit more space?
And maybe this technique you can do again a few times.
Just exploring how the Brahmari sound helps you to come back into balance.
And of course when you come back here you can also use those tapping points to create positive words.
I am love.
Or I am happiness.
Or I am creating space.
Or I rest within myself.
Or I am in the present moment.
I am creating healing.
So explore this journey.
And thank you for tapping and making Brahmari sound with me.
Namaste.
Have a wonderful happy day.

I love this. I’m not sure I got the sound quite right, and I did switch hands when my right hand got tired of tapping, but I really felt a calm sensation from this practice. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this, it really helped me reset and uplift my energy today. I also have practiced at Anand Prakash Yoga in Rishikesh and am trained in the Akhanda Shakti method. I got my 200 hour from one of Yogrishi Vishvketu’s former student, Adi Shakti. I went to practice in India in 2019. I had no idea when I selected todays meditation. Small world.
