A guided meditation that connects us with our beautiful breath. We enjoy each in-breath as though it was a low wave drawing along the shoreline. Our receding breath can release tension or holding, the way that a wave nudges pebbles or debris along the seashore. And then allow each breath to be emanating from an ocean of peace - or calm, or whatever your heart needs right now. Each breath brings the potential to 'light up' this gift in every cell of your being.

Bell Drawing our awareness back to our body.

Just sensing your physical body.

What do you notice about what it's touching?

Where its weight is resting against the earth or chair,

Cushion,

Bed.

Just allowing yourself to bring your mind home and really embody.

So you sense your presence from the inside.

We may sense movement around us or sound rising and falling.

Just allowing ourselves to have this sense of inner stillness within that motion.

Aware of the waves of your breath.

A sense of opening and expansion as your breath is drawn in,

Nourishing every cell.

And as your breath recedes,

Allowing a settling releasing.

And conjuring this image of waves drawing in along a seashore.

These low waves lapping.

Sensing the breath moving through your whole body.

And if this next wave emanated from an ocean of stillness.

So that as your breath washes through your whole body,

That it brings with it the potential to awaken stillness in every cell.

As fresh waves wash through your body,

Just allowing this opening to stillness.

Opening to calm.

This infusion of calm in every cell.

And our body remembering it.

I felt this before.

We need trusting that it's okay to rest in calm for a moment.

Our exhalation can release any tensions or pockets of stale energy or holding.

Just draw that back into a wider,

Bigger ocean where it can be transformed,

Softened,

Released.

And then allowing a wash through with your in-breath of kindness,

Of simply the potential to feel the kindness that comes with this fresh wave from the ocean.

Illuminating every cell.

From our hands to our hips,

Our lungs,

Our throat,

Our face,

Our heart.

Allowing this infusion,

Lighting up of our whole body with the potential to encounter kindness.

And each wave refreshes that potential.

May we know kindness.

May we recognize and deeply know the feeling of kindness.

Sensing this wave of kindness drawing in from a vast ocean of such expansive,

Compassionate,

Loving,

Kind presence.

Just washing through our whole being,

Trusting in the goodness of our breath.

Grateful for this fresh,

Clean air that we draw in and transform into nourishment to kindness to wisdom.

We are alchemists.

Thank you.
